"So... You're Midoriya, Izuku huh?" The tall, muscular man said, walking up to Izuku. The man stood in front of Izuku, towering over Izuku as he examined the green haired boy. His amber eyes stared deeply into the now watering green ones below him. Ochaco stared at the two of them before slowly tiptoeing past them. Izuku noticed her leave out the corner of his eye. He was sweating now. Why would she leave him?

"So boy..." The man said, folding his muscular arms, built from the years of heavy construction working. "You think you're worthy of my daughter? You think you're worth her time and day? What makes you think you're special enough for my Baby Girl? Did you even ask me for permission? That's a bold move, kid... I dunno if I want my daughter with 'bold' boys..." He said, asking all the questions without stopping.

The color left Izuku's face. He hadn't even gotten to respond and her father already didn't like him.

"What? Can't speak now?" The tall man said, a glare now forming in his eyes, seemingly getting impatient with the lack of responses. "You were all up on my daughter a second ago. Where did all that confidence go?"

"I... I... I..." Izuku said, physically shaking now. An empty feeling in Izuku's stomach grew, his head started to hurt, the sweat from his forehead now dripping as he desperately tried to keep the tears from falling. He failed. Not even five minutes in he failed to keep Ochaco as a girlfriend.

The man sighed, closing his eyes and shaking his head, turning his back towards Izuku. The man had started walking away, but not before Izuku had strengthened his resolve. How could he protect anything if he couldn't even protect his own relationship.

"I'M SORRY! I SHOULD HAVE INTRODUCED MYSELF BEFORE ANYTHING, SIR!" Izuku yelled. The brown haired man turned to face Izuku, with shock on his face. Izuku stood, bowing deep in front of the construction worker. Ochaco, who had went to stand by her mother at the doorway, smiled sweetly. Her eyes focused on the boy now doing his best. She had never doubted him.

"My name is Midoriya, Izuku! I have been dating your daughter the last few months. You are right, I should have found a way to introduce myself earlier. I love your daughter with every fiber in my body. I'm not worthy of the happiness she brings me. But... I want to stay with your daughter if you'll allow it. Please."

Izuku didn't look up from his bow, carefully maintaining position. Ochaco's father looked down at the boy, surprised by his outburst. Izuku closed his eyes shut, waiting to hear the final verdict. However all Izuku heard was... laughing?

Izuku looked up slightly from his bow to see the man laughing as hard as he could.

"I'm sorry my boy, I just wanted to pull your leg. I didn't expect you to get as serious as you did!" He said through his hearty laughs. Izuku stared up in confusion.

"Sir?" Izuku said shyly. Wasn't he just disowning Izuku a second ago? Izuku peeked a glance at Ochaco from behind her father, who had a hand to her mouth, giggling.

"Dad! Stop teasing him! I told you he could be sensitive at times!" Ochaco said, looking empathetic but satisfied at the same time.

"Oh you two look at the boy. He's so confused, give him a break." Ochaco's mother said, frowning at the two other Uraraka's. The man wiped a tear from his eye, calming his laughing down as he looked back down at Izuku.

"Stand up my boy, you're perfectly fine. I've heard a lot about you from my daughter. I was a bit skeptical at first but after hearing everything you've done, and seeing the smile on Ochaco's face, you are definitely on my good side. I just wanted to have a bit of fun with you." He said happily smiling down at Izuku.

"T-Thank you?" Izuku questioned, standing straight up. The man put a hand on his shoulder, guiding him towards the porch of the house.

"My name is Ochata Uraraka. It's nice to finally meet you. As far as I'm concerned, you're already family." He said cheerfully. Izuku, in shock to what had just transpired, allowed himself to be guided to the door where Ochaco hugged him.
