Chapter 88: The Abandoned Docks

Yosuke woke with a start, feeling the rumbling of the car beneath the passenger seat he lay in. He stood up sorely, grabbing his shirt near his heart area.

"Ah, you're awake." A woman's voice said. He turned over to see Asagiri, driving the car they were strapped into. He looked in the back seat to see the green haired boy, still broken and purple, quietly laying down. He sat up slowly, pulling his seat up with him. 

"Sorry I couldn't get the other two," He said, stretching and moving his stiff shoulders around. "Didn't expect those other trainee heroes to show up outta no-where..."

He expected Asagiri to say something eccentric or completely scientific, however Asagiri simply shrugged.

"In due time, we'll get what we need." 

Yosuke raised an eyebrow before noticing the rips in the Doctors clothing. 

"Seems like you had a difficult time yourself. Wha' happened to you?" He asked. Asagiri laughed loudly. 

"Izuku Midoriya woke up while you were out and well..." She pointed up at the car roof. Both of Yosuke's eyes were raised now, staring at the gigantic hole. How did he miss that when he woke up? "He put up quite the fight. Honestly if he had been aiming for me, he probably would've destroyed me."

"He wasn' aiming for you?" He asked. Asagiri shook her head, a small smile on her face. 

"He was trying to escape to fight Shigaraki, who if I've deducted correctly, now has All for One." She said, though her tone was almost... peaceful.

"Speakin' of all tha'..." Yosuke said, now cracking his neck. "I unno wha's up with that kid back there, but something in him changed after I wiped his memories." 

"Yes, yes, I noticed." Asagiri said, looking at Midoriya through her rearview mirror. "It seems the will of the One for All users are guiding the quirk. Though... something is different..."

"How do ya know somethin's different?" Yosuke asked. "You just got the kid."

"Yes, but looking at previous information, its not hard to put things together." She said. "I guess you don't know anything about All for One and One for All. Granted, I know little of All for One. However I was briefed on One for All. One for All is a quirk that was passed down through multiple people. Each person it gets passed down too, it seems to have gotten stronger. At least that's what Dr. Garaki expressed to me. It seems he wanted it for some reason, however he never told me why. Now that I know All for One's existence, I can only conclude he wants to give it to All for One."

"Okay... tha's a little cheesy." Yosuke said, leaning back in his chair. "Then why not we just keep One for All to ourselves? It can be taken right? Lets just take the shit. We'll be the top dogs."

"I'm sure if it was that easy it would've been done by now." Asagiri said with an ever growing grin, her red hair blowing a bit in the wind from the hole above them. 

"I have a strong feeling All for One... With how powerful he was against All Might... I have no doubt he'll be coming after that boy. And unlike Midoriya here, All for One knows how to use his powers."

"But I thought you said Shigaraki has All for One now." Yosuke said, trying to keep up with the information being thrown at him. Asagiri nodded. 

"I've concluded that he does. However, I don't believe a villain like All for One is the type to 'put his faith' into a lunatic like Shigaraki. No... I believe Shigaraki is just a pawn. All for One will return, and he'll be after One for All. And we're gonna give it to him."

Yosuke rubbed the bridge of his nose, trying to keep up with Asagiri's thinking. This was a lot more complicated than what the Liberation was telling him. And that was hard enough to understand as is.
