emma.x: they didn't even know what this girl looked like, but something inside them told them that they wanted to be friends with her

emma.x: but the boy-girl couldn't help but feel like they were going to be alone forever because who can love a boy-girl in the same way they could love a boy or a girl
emma.x: so they didn't say anything to the girl about how they felt like a string of fairy lights had been turned on inside their chest every time they talked
emma.x: and it wasn't until years later that they realised they'd missed a blatant opportunity to end up with someone they really liked
emma.x: so they built a time machine to go back and try again
emma.x: because everyone deserves to have the chance to be in love. the end
