Chapter 24

Y/N POV

Before we arrived at the mall, Me,Nat and Steve grabbed some clothes to disguise our selves. We began walking through the mall, me and Nat at a regular place and Steve, basically speed walking, I continually had to grab his arm and pull him back to stop walking so damn fast.
"Steve slow down, the first rule of going undercover is run don't walk." I said.
"If I run in these shoes, there gonna fall off." Steve replied. I couldn't help but smile and let out a little giggle.
We got to the electronic store and Nat started hacking into a computer. Steve had his hand around my waist and kept looking around the room.
"This drive has a level six, homing program. So as soon as he boot up, SHIELD will know exactly where we are." Nat said.
"How much time do we have?" Steve asked
"About nine minutes from now." Nat said as she plugged in the USB, That Fury handed to me.
"Fury was right, Somebody was trying to hide something, This system is protected by some sort of A.I, it keeps rewriting itself to counter my commands."
"Can you over ride it?" I asked
"The person who developed this is slightly smarter than me, Slightly." She continued to hack into the computer as me and Steve looked around the room.
"I'm gonna try running a tracer. This is a program SHIELD developed, to track holster malware, so if we can't read the file, maybe we can find out where it came from." Nat said.
"Can I help you guys with anything?" A man with very long hair came by. It looked like he worked for the store.
"Oh, No just me and fiancé and my maid of honour here are looking at honeymoon destinations. Shes a great help." I smiled.
"Right, We're getting married." Steve smiled and said it in the most confused way possible. Nat just looked at us and smirked.
"Congratulations, we're are you two, thinking about going?" The man stared at me and Steve, while Nat continued to type on the computer. The name New Jersey popped up on the screen.
"New Jersey." Steve said.
"Oh." The guy smiled. He looked at Steve and started studying him.
"I have the exact same glasses." He said.
"Wow you two are practically twins." I smiled.
"Yeah, I wish." He waved his hands around. "specimen." He walked off and Steve kissed my forehead.
"Okay it's been nine minutes." Steve said impatiently.
"Relax." Nat said. "Got it." The place Wheaton NJ. Showed up.
"Do you know it?" I asked.
"I used to, let's go." Steve grabbed the flash drive and we walked out of the store.
"Standard tag team. Two behind, Two across and two coming straight at us. If they make us, I'll engage, you hit the south escalator to the metro." Steve said to me and Nat.
"Shut up and put both your arms around me and Y/N and laugh.
"What?" Me and Steve said at the same time.
"Just do it!" Nat said gritting her teeth. Steve did that and started to fake laugh. The two people walked by us, not noticing us. We continued to walk until we got the escalator. We started riding it up and I noticed Rumlow was coming down to us.
"Steve kiss me." I said. Nat noticed what I meant and nodded her head.
"Follow her lead."
I grabbed Steve's face and kissed him, Nat found some random dude and kissed him. We rode up to the top and Steve's cheeks were flushed, Same with the guy Nat kissed.
"Let's go." I said.

-Time Skip-

We were on our way to New Jersey with a truck Steve stole, to my surprise.
"Where did Captain America learn to steal a car?" I asked smirking. Steve was driving, I was in the middle and Nat was beside me.
"Nazi Germany and I didn't steal it, so take your feet off the dash." He said to Nat. She dropped her feet and smiled.
"So how did you two meet?" Nat asked.
"Well I got a job, We worked in the same office and than he asked me out. One thing led to another and now we're dating." I smiled. Steve gripped my hand and rubbed circles on the top.
"You guys are to cute." She grinned and looked out the window.
"Was she being sarcastic?" I whispered to Steve.
"I have no clue." He whispered back. I just laughed and started to feel sleepy. I leaned onto Steve and drifted off.

Steve's POV
I felt Y/N lean on me. When I looked down her eyes were closed and I smiled.
"You really love her, don't you." Nat said
"Yeah." I smiled. "I love her so much. I'm so lucky to have her." I whispered.
"If you ever hurt her, I won't hesitate to hurt you." She said with a glare. I gulped and looked forward at the road.
We eventually made it to Camp Leigh.
"Y/N, wake up." I shrugged her lightly. She groaned and cuddled up closer to me.
"Five more minutes." She groaned. I laughed and picked her shoulders up.
"Y/N we are here." I said. She shot her eyes open and her cheeks flushed.
"I am so sorry."
"It's all okay sweetheart." I smiled. She rubbed her head and I helped her out of the car.
"Ready to go live birds." Nat mocked.
"Yeah." Y/N laughed.
"Let's get going." I put my arm around her waist and we walked into the camp.
