Chapter 30

Fury gave us roles for what we need to accomplish during this mission. Sam, Steve and my self each had a chip. I slipped it in one of my suit's pockets. Maria had stolen back all of our gear ahead of time. I don't know how, but I'm impressed.
We all left the bunker and began our walk to the shield building. But before that, Steve stole his old suit from the museum we went to the other day. So that if Bucky was to see him, he would better recognize him. Which just made me sad and warmed my heart.
Now we were walking into the building to the broadcasting room, Hand In with Steve the who way there.
"This will work right?" I asked. I still had second thoughts about this whole thing. I was scared that the helicarriers would launch and kill millions of people. Including me and Steve. A shiver ran down my spine but I kept my self composed. Steve noticed and wrapped his arm around my waist, pulling me closer to his body.
"I really hope this works or a lotta people are gonna die." Sam said
"Sam." Steve sighed.
"What I'm just saying the truth." He defend. Even in this time, I let out a little giggle.
We ended up at the door to the control room. Sam messed with their broadcasting equipment and it sent a loud ringing noise through their mics. We waited on their other side of the door, Maria and Sam holding guns, while I held my sword out. The door opened up. A man was standing there, looks at the four of us in fear. He looked like he was about to yell for help.
"Excuse us." Steve said. The man shut his mouth and motioned his hands, a signal for us to come in. Me and Sam took care of the rest of the agents, kicking them or throwing them out if the room, if they were stubborn. Which 90% of them were. Which was quite annoying to be honest. Steve took off his helmet and placed it on the desk. He than pressed a button to the coms and began to speak.
"Attention all Shield Agents. This is Steve Rogers. You've heard a lot about me over the last few days. Some of you were even hired to hunt me down. But I think it's time you know the truth. Shield is not what we thought it was. It's been taken over by Hydra. Alexander Pierce is their leader. The strike and insight crew are Hydra as well. I don't know how many more, but I know they're in the building. They could be standing right next to you. They almost have what they want. Absolute control. They shot Nick Fury. And it won't end there. If you launch those helicarriers toady, Hydra will be able to kill anyone that stands in their way. Unless we stop them. I know I'm asking a lot. But the price of freedom is high. It always has been. And it's a price I'm willing to pay, including Y/N. And if we're the only two, than so be it. But I'm willing to bet we aren't." Steve finished say to me. I loved when he could give a whole on speech, for some reason to me it was so hot and amazing. Sam walked up to him.
"Did you write that down first, or was that off the top of your head?" Sam asked, smiling. Steve looked towards me and I gave him a reassuring smile. He slipped back on his helmet and grabbed my hand. Me, Him and Sam all ran out the building to replace all the chips.
We were now running across the flight deck of shield.
"Hey cap. How do we know the good guys from the bad guys?" Sam asked
"If there shooting at you, there bad." He responded.
"Makes sense to me." I laughed. Sam made his wings activate and he grabbed my waist.
"Hold on."
I gripped my arms around him and he jumped off the ledge, but than taking off. I watched as Steve ran across the flight deck of one of the helicarries, which was currently taking off.
We started to fly above one of the carriers, when they started shooting at us.
"Cap, I found those bad guys you were taking about." Sam yelled.
"Keep Y/N safe." Steve said over the ear pieces, I could hear the fear and pain in his voice.
"Sam Im gonna let go." I yelled
"What? Are you insane. Steve will kill me if anything happens to you." He said angrily.
"Trust me." I pleaded. We continued to fly up and I could see the gears turning in his head.
"Fine, where?"
"Left!" I yelled. He glided us down and I gripped my sword tightly. "And....now!" I said to my self. I let go of his waist and he flew off, to avoid being shot down. I began to fall through the crisp air. I began to fall right beside the carrier and I stuck my sword into the side of it. It began ripping through the metal and tearing apart the material. It ended up getting stuck and I stopped in my tracks. The weight of impact, making my stomach flip.
"Ah." I groaned. I swung my body up and found a little ledge to stand on. My back fully against the carrier, the world slowly disappearing, as we continued to fly up. I grabbed my sword out of the ship and flicked my wrist so it would shrink back into a pocket size pole. I began to move, My arms against the carrier, and slowly shuffling my body across it. After about a minute, there was a little ladder and I climbed it up to the flight deck. A bunch of agents were across the deck. I grabbed my sword again and turned my self invisible. I ran across the deck, cutting down any agents in my path. As I was running to the door, two agents stood in my way.
Oh I could have fun with this.
I dropped my sword, startling the two agents. I ran at them, I wrapped my legs around one of them and through my self into the other one, taking them both down. I rolled across the floor and landed in a kneel. One of them began to stand up, but I was quicker. I kicked him in the face and grabbed their arm, I pinned it behind the back and kicked them into the wall. Knocking them out. I straightened out my suit and picked up my sword. I slipped it on my back and opened the door to the control room, place. I ran across the little bridge and replaced the chip.
"Locked and loaded." I said.
"Nicely done Pirate." Steve said.
"Alrighty two more to go."
