Y/N POV
We walked into the camp and Steve grabbed my hand. We began walking across the paths, that were beside the buildings. Nat was walking ahead of us and scanning the area with a little device.
"There's nothing here, Whoever sent that. Must have used a router to throw people off." Nat said. Steve started looking at this building and his eye brows furrowed.
"What?" I asked
"Army regulations forbid storing munitions, within 500 of feet of the barracks." Steve said as we walked over to this mysterious building.
"This building is in the wrong place." He said. I saw a lock on the door and grabbed it. As I was about to pick it, Steve grabbed my waist gently and yanked me away. He swung his shield and whacked the lock. Breaking it and making it fall to the floor.
"Show off." I smirked. He let out a little chuckle. Nat pushed open the door and we all walked in. We walked down a flight of stairs and I found a light switch. I flipped it on and when the lights came on, it revealed an office space. With a giant shield logo painted on the wall.
"This is Shield." Nat said
"Maybe where it started." Steve said. I began to walk forward, when I felt Steve grab my hand and yank me back a bit, so I was next to him. I could tell he was a bit scared of this place. While i thought this was the coolest shit. We continued to walk though the abandoned office spaces. Until we came across a door to another office. Steve opened it and we all slowly crept in. On the wall in front of us, I took notice of three photos of people. One was Starks father another was some random man. In the middle was Peggy carter. Steve gave her quick glance and looked at me.
"Steve it's okay." I smiled. His shoulders dropped and a sigh escaped his lips. We continued to walk, with Nat trailing behind us.
"It's a dead end." I said. Steve must have noticed something, because he left my grasp and walked over to a shelf.
"If your already working in a secret base?" Steve said. As he yanked on the shelf, causing it slide, showing a hidden room.
"Why do you need to hide the elevator?"
Me and Nat both walked in behind him and Nat went to the key pad. She pulled out a device from her pocket and it showed her what the passcode was. Which was pretty cool in my opinion. She punched in the code and the elevator doors opened. We all looked at each other and walked in. The doors closed behind us and started bringing us down. I gripped Steve's hand again, a wee bit tighter than last time. Nerves started to set in and my breath was getting shallower. I had no idea what to expect or what was even happening.
The doors finally opened to reveal a pitch black room. We all just started out the elevator and Steve started to walk forward. I followed close behind, Nat right by my side. I heard the doors close behind us, sending a shiver down my spine. As we continued to walk the lights turned on to reveal, very old technology that went on for ever. There was a computer set up in front us, That we walked towards.
"This can't be the data point, this technology is ancient." Nat said. I noticed sitting on the desk was a USB and flash drive port.
"Nat that doesn't look ancient." I laughed and pointed to it. She looked at me.
"No it does not." She smiled. Me and Steve walked over to her as she put the flash drive into a port. Suddenly all the old machines around us turned on, Startling me. A camera sitting on top of a computer started moving. Out of nowhere, words appeared on the computer.

Initiate System?

Nat walked forward and got to the keyboard.
"Y.E.S. Yes." She said as she typed that in. She clicked enter and stared at the screen. "Shall we play a game?" Nat teased at the computer. "It's from a movie." She smiled.
"Yeah I saw." Steve said unimpressed. She backed away until she stood beside me again. A picture made up of green lines appeared and it looked like a face. The camera started scanning Steve.
"Rogers, Steven. Born 1918." The computer said. The camera than turned to me.
"Y/L/N, Y/N. Born 1989." I just looked at it confused and than the camera moved to Nat.
"Romanoff, Natalia. Born 1984."
"It's some kind of recording." Nat said.
"I am not a recording!" The computer said angrily and offended. Which was weird to me, Computers aren't this smart yet, right?
