Chapter 32

Y/N POV
I began to panic on how to get off of this helicarrier. The guns started firing. Parts of the ship started to explode and materials were flying everywhere. I turned my self invisible and my ghost form to do, since things were flying around and I didn't want to get hit. I began doing my best to dodge objects as they fell over board. I mean they wouldn't do anything to me, but my brain was still forcing me to do that. A big shipping container was sliding down near me and it moved right threw me and I watched as it fell into the water below.
"SHIT!" I yelled. More things started falling off the edge as I held on for dear life, on this little metal handle that was fused into the concrete.
"Y/N, where are you?" I heard Nat yell.
"On a helicarrier."
"Which one?"
"I don't know." I gasped. The ship started to go down even more and one of the guns shot right in front of me, making me letting go. As I continued to fall off to my death. I noticed a small quinjet sliding down below as well. It moved thankfully and was coming towards me. It went right through me, but as soon as I get to the cockpit, I changed back to my solid form and I was now sitting on the leather seats.
"HELL YEAH!" I exclaimed. But than I realized I was still falling head first into the water. I quickly grabbed the handles and began to pull up. The jets kicked in quickly and I took off into the sky. I let out a huge breath and slumped into the seat.
"Y/N! We're coming for you!" I heard Sam say.
"I'm okay guys. Go find Steve." I ordered. I began to fly around the wreckage of the helicarriers. I was trying to find Steve, but I couldn't see him anywhere.
"Steve! Are you there. It's Y/N, I'm okay." I muttered into the ear piece. The line was dead, my heart started racing and my breath became more ragged.
"STEVE!" I yelled again. No response. "Shit!" I hit the window in anger and tears started to fill in my eyes. I couldn't loose Steve, he meant so much to me, I don't think I could live my life without him. I began to fly back down to the ground, because I had no idea where to find him on those things. He could be anywhere and those guns would shoot me down. If we still alive and than I would die trying to save him, I couldn't put him through that. As I was landing the jet, something caught my eye. As I was watching wreckage fall to the water. I saw a familiar blue suit fall into the water.
"STEVE! NO!" I screamed out. I quickly opened the hatch of the jet and ran to the water. I immediately dived into the water. I began searching for him, but it was very difficult to see anything, also I was trying to avoid any falling debris. I surfaced and started panicking again.
"Steve, Baby where are you? Please surface." I begged. I suddenly felt a splash on my face and I saw the ripples in the water. I watched as two silhouette came closer to the surface. I swam back to shore and watched as Bucky carried Steve's body onto the sand. I ran over to his body and caressed his face.
"Oh my gosh!" I cried out in joy. "Thank you Bucky. Thank you so much." Steve started to cough up water and than Bucky walked away. He waited to see if he was alive. I sat Steve up and he coughed a shit ton of water all of him. He opened his eyes and looked at me.
"Y/N?" He asked.
"Yeah it's me." I smiled. Tears were now pouring down my face.
"Hi pirate." He smirked. I wrapped him in a hug and he wrapped one around me.
"Nat! Nat! I have him. Come to the shore line. He needs major medical attention." I said.
"Copy that." She said. I noticed Steve had a stab wound, about two bullets holes and his face was extremely red and he looked like he had a black eye.
"Thank you." He whispered. I hugged him tighter, still trying to be carful because of his injuries.

STEVE POV
I woke up to the sound of trouble man playing. I could feel someone holding my hand and I turned my head to see Y/N holding it. Looking at a book.
"On your left." I mumbled. She looked to me and I saw Y/N's eyes lit up with happiness. She placed the book down and smiled.
"Good morning Captain."
"Good morning pirate." I leaned forward slightly and she got what I meant. Her lips met mine instantly and I felt all my pain slip away for a moment.
"Steve I thought I lost you." She confessed. I looked to her and cupped her cheek and wiped away a tear.
"I thought I had lost you to. But I'm glad we are both here and we with each other again." I expressed. She closed the gap again with a kiss and I placed my hand around the back of her head, pulling her closer to my body. We heard a knock at the door and she sunk back down into the seat.
"Hello?" Y/N asked.
"It's Sam. Can I come in?"
"Come on in." She said. He opened the door and his eyes also lit up.
"Your awake!" He exclaimed.
"Yes I am." I smiled. He gave me a hug and took a seat next to Y/N.
"How are you feeling?" Y/N asked.
"Better than before. When do you think I can leave?" I asked, I didn't like hospitals that much, so I wanted to get out as fast as possible.
"In about two days." Y/N replied.
"Okay. I can't wait to come back home." I shared.
"And I can't wait either." Y/N smiled.
We all continued to talk and hang out until Sam got called away. I saw Y/N was setting up a bed on a very uncomfortable couch.
"Hey babe. Go home and have a good sleep not on that un comfy couch. I will be here tomorrow." I said. She looked to me with almost a sense of relief in her eyes.
"Are you sure?" She asked coming close to me and grabbing my hand again.
"I am positive. I love you Y/N and I will see you tomorrow." I kissed her hand and she blushed.
"Goodnight Steve and I love you to." She gave me a kiss and left the room. I just smiled as I watched her leave. Man did I love that girl.

Y/N POV
When I got back into the apartment, it was fixed from all the bullet holes and blood. I flopped down onto the bed, but it didn't feel the same without Steve with me. But I knew if I didn't have a goodnight sleep, that he would kill me.
After a while I fell asleep. When I woke up. I turned over, just slight hope that he would actually be there. I just sighed and flipped back over, I reached over for my phone and saw that he already texted me.

"Hey, On your way here. Can you bring us some coffee. There coffee sucks." I started laughing and smiled.

"Ya, I'll be there in twenty." I got out of the bed, took a shower mad got dressed. I picked up our coffees and arrived at the hospital. When I walked into the room, he was looking at me, with his adorable smile.
"Good morning beautiful." He smirked.
"Good morning handsome." I smirked back. I handed him his coffee and sat down on the bed. We talked all day, unless the doctor came in to do some tests. But at the end of the day, he actually said he is clear to go. Thanks to the super soldier serum. So we packed up his things and got back to the apartment. I opened the door, but before I could walk in, he scooped me up and I started giggling. He walked us inside and kicked the door closed. He flopped me down onto the bed and hovered over me.
"I love you Y/N."
"And I love you to Steve."
