Chapter 12

Y/N POV
"Hey Nat." Steve smiled.
"Steve, Hey." He smiled huge and Steve wrapped her in a hug, causing a slight bit of jealousy in my brain.
"Oh my gosh Hi. Your Y/N right?" He smiled
"Ya I am." I said
"It's so nice to finally meet you, I've heard so much about you." She smiled
"Really?"
"Yes, Your powers are so cool. You can camouflage right?"
"Yeah, Or you could call it turning invisible." I giggled.
"That's still so cool. I'm so happy I actually get to meet you." Why was she fangirling over me so much. I'm not that exciting, am I?
"Well Nat it's very nice to see a familiar face around." Steve sighed. Steve told me about they time they fought together with the other avengers. Fighting a guy named Loki, I think. I sat down in my chair and Nat sat down on the couch we had in the corner of the office.
"So, What's going on with you to?" She smirked. Me and Steve both looked to each other.
"Uh what do you mean?" I looked nervously over to her.
"Well I mean you work in an office together. I had a feeling something would spark between you two." She giggled.
"Well I mean..."I began. But I fight him off.
"Yes Nat were dating." Steve smiled.
"Wait actually, I was just bullshitting." She started laughing and I saw Steve glare at her and I was trying to hold into my laughter.
"Really Nat." Steve rolled his eyes and I walked over to him and leaned into him.
"Oh calm down Steve." Nat snarky said.
"Okay well it was really nice to see you guys, but I have to get going. See you later." Nat smiled and left the room.
"She seems really nice."
"Ya, when she's not being a smart ass. She's nice." He chuckled. I sat down back in my chair and started working.
-hour later-
"Ah shit!" Steve said.
"What, Whats wrong?" I asked concerned.
"I just have go down to the training room."
"Oh, well don't say oh shit in a panicked way. You scared the shit out of me." I giggled.
"We'll go have fun captain." I winked.
He let out a little growl and stood up
"Uh fine. But can I get a goodbye kiss." He made puppy dog eyes.
"Yes." I sheepishly smiled. He walked over to me and grabbed my neck and pulled us into a deep kiss.
"See you." I sighed. As he walked out I took time to admire his ass. He had a great ass.
After I finished doing some work I wanted to go check on Steve. But first I was gonna grab some coffee. I walked into the kitchen and I saw Rumlow making some coffee.
"Oh hey." He smirked.
"Um hi."
I moved past him and made my coffee.
"So what are you doing tonight?" He moved closer to me.
"Um nothing." I said disgusted.
"Well can I take you out for a drink?"
"No thank you." I smiled and grabbed my coffee. As the elevator doors were closing Rumlow quickly ran in.
"Oh hey again." He grinned.
"Where are you headed?"
"I'm just gonna go to the gym training room." I mumbled and looked out the glass walls of the elevator.
"I'm gonna go there to."
"Cool." He stared scooting closer, did he not realize I turned him down. Did he think I was playing hard to get. The doors opened and I quickly sped off down the hallway. I entered the gym and shut the door behind me, leaning against the door. Steve looked at me confused and than did a light jog towards me from the guy he was training.
"Are you okay?"
"Rumlow is just being super creepy. He's coming in here." His eyes had a flash of anger fly through them.
"Creepy how?" He looked over my shoulder into the little window on the door, that shows the hallway. I just looked at the ground.
"Hey was trying to ask me out." I looked up at him and he stared down at me.
"What?" He put his hand on the door and lightly brushed his hand on my stomach.
"Yeah. I'm getting uncomfortable from him. But it's probably nothing." I sighed.
"No, I will go kick his ass."
"Steve don't. It's fine." I grabbed his shoulders and I could feel him relax underneath me.
"It's all okay. If he gets worse I will tell you."
"Ok." He sighed and kissed my forehead. He wrapped his arm around me and started walking back to the dude he was training. I than realized it was the dude that brought me to my office.
"Andrew?" I smiled
"Y/N, Hey." He smiled.
"You guys know each other?" Steve had a hint of jealousy on his face.
"He brought me to our office the first day."
"Yeah." He grinned. I felt Steve's hand trace my back in a protective matter. His hand slipped under my shirt and I felt his cold hands on my warm back. I flinched a bit and looked at him.
"Well I should say thank you than." Steve flashed him a fake smile.
"Um, ya." Andrew cocked an eyebrow and just looked at us.
"Your dome for the day." Steve said to Andrew.
"Okay." He smiled. "Thanks." He walked off and Steve spun me around.
"Really Rogers?" I laughed. "In front of him."
"Well I saw the way he was looking at you and I wanted to let him know that you were mine." He blushed.
"Steve, I'm not going to be with another guy. I want to be with you and only you." I cupped his cheek and he kissed my hand.
"Same here." He smiled. I leaned in and kissed him. When the doors opened and I looked behind him and saw Rumlow walk in. I began to feel scared again and Steve must have noticed.
"Rumlow?"
I nodded my head and he wrapped his arm around my waist, pulling me so our hips were touching. The fear that set into Rumlows eyes was priceless.
"Do you need something?" Steve said stern.
"No." He looked at me and than back to Steve. He left the gym in a hurried matter.
"Well that's one way to get rid of him." I laughed. Steve just planted another kiss to my lips.
"You don't know how hard it was not to just go kick his ass." He mumbled.
"Next time." I kissed him once more, When the doors opened again.
"Rumlow piss off!" I yelled.
"Excuse me!" Me and Steve both looked over to see Nick Fury standing by the door.
"Shit!"
