"I'm confident that our time will extend past this term."

The next morning's Quidditch practice was less than pleasant. After your late night with Severus, you missed your blaring alarm the next morning, causing you to be almost ten minutes late for practice. You had jumped out of bed when you did wake up, but abruptly winced at the soreness between your legs. It radiated all the way down to your feet, slowing you down significantly.

To keep a long story short, you had never been more uncomfortable riding a broom in your entire life.

It was a painfully long practice, and it had wiped you out. You had never been happier to crawl back into bed for the rest of the day. As much as you wanted to stay holed away in your room for another day or so, Monday came around quickly and signaled the beginning of a new week.

It was the first week of November, the Halloween spirit had worn off just as fast as it had come. The Halloween Dance was now a long forgotten memory in the fickle minds of Hogwarts students, so things were back to business as usual. While everyone else had pushed the dance to the back of their minds, it was fresh on yours. Over the last day or so, that night had been heavy on your mind.

You couldn't stop thinking about it. You couldn't stop thinking about him.

The way his hands felt on your body and the way his voice sounded so deliciously in your ears was intoxicating. It sent a fire over your body that only he could extinguish. In the last two months, you had discovered one thing.

You were crazy for Severus Snape.

Advanced Potions was now your favorite class for a totally different reason. You were able to push the limits and see just how far you could push Severus to his limit. On more than one occasion you had shown up to his class in your most revealing shirt, just parting your robes enough to where he could get a peek. He had scolded you time after time again for using class time to tempt him, but nothing seemed to stop you. You knew that he loved it deep down.

Today though, you didn't have the energy to mess with him. Between the busy weekend and the rough Quidditch practice, you needed another good night of sleep before you were back to yourself again. Potions was your last class of the day, but Severus had a list of things for you to do.

"On page 243, you will see a detailed description of Draught of Peace and how it is used. I expect a 2 page essay written by our next class session." He ordered as his way of dismissing class.

Scattered groans and grunts could be heard from around the room at the sound of being assigned a lengthy essay. What a great way to start the week. Everyone filed out of the Potions classroom, basically climbing over each other to get out first. Severus' hard demeanor softened once you were alone.

"You were quiet today." He pointed out, extending a hand to you.

"I'm tired," You explained, taking his hand; "Long weekend."

He smirked. He knew all too well. He raised you from your chair and pulled you into him. You felt the material of his black robes underneath your fingertips. His robes were surprisingly cottony and smelled like fresh, clean linen sheets. You felt so at ease with him.

"I see. If you wish to get some rest, I can handle grading for today." He offered.

"No, I'm fine. If we only have until the end of the term then I'll help you as often as I can." You replied honestly.

Severus recalled the conversation you had overheard between him and Dumbledore.

"I'm confident that our time will extend past this term." Severus spoke.
