*SMUT AHEAD*

"I'm quite sure I misheard you,"

The next week was a monotonous cycle that almost pushed you to the edge of insanity. Severus wasn't coming around as often anymore, causing you to have to resort to your own devices.

You had never been more excited in your entire life when Madam Pomfrey finally gave you the okay to leave the hospital wing. You could finally walk on your own, as long as you were careful not to overexert yourself.

You enlisted Alicia's help to get all of your school supplies and other things moved back to your dorm room, updating her on what happened after she left.

"Using Cedric as part of your ploy?" She said, her mouth gaping open; "You're bad, [Y/N]."

You laughed at her bluntness, stacking your books back on your desk. You had never been so happy to see your cramped little space.

"I haven't seen him since that day. The fucker knows what he's doing." You said, remembering you'd be seeing him shortly.

As of today, you were officially returning to your full time assistant's job, as well as returning to school for good. Alicia raised her brows.

"He's teasing you...that's so hot!" She squealed.

You snorted at that. You had said it before, Alicia was VERY honest.

"And incredibly frustrating." You said, remembering just what this had been doing to your sex drive.

Alicia smirked. She knew you were going to the classroom after this.

"If you need help walking tomorrow, just let me know. It's not everyday that you get rough piped over a desk." She announced.

You shrieked at her choice of wording.

"Alicia Spinnet!" You shrilled.

She cackled, resting a hand on her core as she did so. She loved messing with you.

"You know he's going to! No man says all those things and then doesn't show it." She pointed out.

The two of you snickered as she helped you finish unloading your stuff. She waved you off with a knowing wink. She could be right after all.

You might just need her help after this.

Anyone else probably would've gone straight to their dorm or the library to catch up with friends after a two week medical leave, but you went straight to the Potions classroom. You knew Severus would be there, finishing up his school day, which meant you'd be helping him reset the classroom for the next day.

You navigated the castle, stopping to speak with friends and acquaintances as they gave you their joys that you were back. You worked your way through the dungeons, stopping once you arrived at the Potions room.

You took a breath, holding back the smile that was threatening to show up on your face. You entered the classroom, immediately seeing Severus standing at one of his cabinets. Based on the state of the room, his last class of the day had a few Potions mishaps. Cauldrons were knocked over and liquids were seeping through the cracks in the floor. A messy classroom like this meant that Severus was probably not in the best of moods.

"Hi, Severus." You greeted as usual.

You were intently watching him. His shoulders were tense and his neck vein was prevalent. Your suspicions were right.
