This is long hahaha.

*SMUT AHEAD.*

"You're really not going to tell me what we're having?"

His quarters? You knew that all the Hogwarts' staff had private rooms within the castle to stay in during the school year, but you had never heard Severus mention his out loud. While you were in transit, you wondered the entire time what it could possibly look like. You didn't pick Severus out to be much an interior designer, so you could only imagine.

You could hear loud chatter off in the distance, meaning that the students had been dismissed from dinner. Still hand in hand, you trailed behind Severus as you made your way down the corridors. The noises faded the further you made it through, and eventually you were in a section of the castle that was totally unfamiliar. How big was this place? Severus stopped in front of a large, dark door at the end of one of the hallways.

You oggled over the size of the door, half expecting the inside to be a mansion of sorts. You weren't far off. He opened the heavy door and your jaw dropped at the inside. It was basically like a full sized studio apartment. There was a nice living room area, adorned with a bedroom, kitchen, and connected bathroom.

"It isn't much." He stated simply.

"Not much? This is nicer than my dorm room." You replied.

It was true after all. This was probably one of the nicest places in the entire castle. Severus laughed quietly as you looked around at his living space. His decor was about what you expected. It was a cascade of dark colors, which was a little different than you were used to living in. You were used to living with an array of colors between having multiple roommates and their own personal spaces.

You wondered if it was strange for him to have a student in his personal quarters. You were willing to bet that you were the first student of his to see his quarters...or really any personal aspect of his life. You had seen things about him that no one would ever see for themselves. You felt so at home in his space with him. It wasn't at all tense like you thought it might be.

Everything was spick and span, not a single object was out of place. You were almost sure that you could smell a hint of cinnamon in the air. You were surprised that there weren't any cauldrons or potion vials anywhere. This was very different than what you were accustomed to. This room reflected and screamed Severus Snape.

The king sized bed was in the middle of the back of the spacious room while the living room and kitchen were on your right and left as you entered. His black, silk sheets were neatly tucked into the bed frame and were covered by a dark gray bedspread with a throw blanket. On top of that, he had a group of matching pillows. You were honestly shocked that his bedding consisted of more than a sheet and a single pillow.

He left you to take a look around, leaving a kiss on the top of your head. He began rustling through his kitchen. That's when you remembered just why you were there.

"What's for dinner?" You queried.

You spotted some carrots, celery, and potatoes out on the counter. Your mouth watered at the sight and your stomach grumbled so loud that you were sure that he heard it. He smiled.

"It's a surprise." He retaliated with a grin.

You gave an amused huff, continuing your exploration around the room. You eyed the large bookcase off to the side of his bedroom area. You wandered over to his closet. You had a gut feeling that there was more to his wardrobe than black robes. You opened the closet doors to see a cluster of black clothing, but your suspicions were correct. While it was mostly robes, he had a few collared shirts and sweaters. You had never seen him wear anything other than the robes.
