"I'm not jealous."

"Severus, Cedric is just a friend." You gave him a nice smile.
Severus didn't return any form of a grin. He wasn't not a happy camper right now.
"What offer is he talking about?" He asked.
Alicia looked up finally from her dead set gaze on the floor. She had already done enough for you today, so you didn't want her to have to listen to this.
"Thanks for everything, Alicia. We'll catch up later." You said, hinting for her to leave.
You hated kicking her out after she covered for you again, but she seemed fine with that. Alicia had never been one for dealing with confrontation.
"Yeah, of course. I'll see you later." She said, looking at Severus once more.
"Thank you, Miss Spinnet." Severus said.
Alicia dashed out of the room, leaving the two of you to talk things over. You looked over your shoulder to make sure Pomfrey wasn't listening. She was still rummaging through cabinets on the other side of the room.
"A few days ago, Cedric came by to visit me. He just asked if I wanted to hang out with him sometime after I was out of here." You explained.
"And you agreed to it?"
Severus was jealous. It was written all over his face. Severus had been jealous about other men before. Professor Lupin had always been very friendly to you, which Severus took personally. You thought about the way he acted that night you asked Lupin to dance...as well as how that night turned out. You could really use this to your advantage if you wanted to.
And, boy, did you want to.
"Well, yeah. Cedric's a great friend." You replied, being sure the emphasize your friendship.
Severus' jaw clenched the way it did whenever he was irritated. His eyes darkened even more than usual.
"Is he now? Better than your dear Professor Lupin?" He snarled.
You didn't even try to hide your devious smirk. You had been trapped in here for far too long, so you might as well get some fun out of this.
"Oh, Sev, you're not still hung up on him, are you?" You asked in a teasing tone.
"I am not 'hung up' on anyone." Severus argued.
"You sure act like it. You never get this uptight about Fred or George." You pointed out.
Severus huffed, keeping his voice quiet.
"The twins don't look at you the way Mr. Diggory does." Severus snapped.
You were trying not to burst into laughter. You knew it was a little cruel what you were doing to him, but you hadn't been able to tantalize him this way in a while. It took your mind off of Quidditch for a bit...and it was payback for him taking back that he loved you.
"Professor Lupin, Cedric Diggory...it seems that all kinds of men around here want my attention." You sighed dreamily.
Severus stood straighter.
"I thought you said you and Cedric were just friends?" He queried.
"Oh, we definitely are. But you know teenage boys. You never know what's really going on in their heads." You replied.
Severus knew that was the truth. He couldn't even attempt to recall all the times he had overhead conversations in the halls about young wizards descriptively telling their friends about their romantic fantasies. It made him uncomfortable as a professor, and even more uncomfortable to think that there was a high chance that some of them talked about you that way.
"Are you making an attempt to get back at me for what happened when you returned from Christmas?" He questioned.
You cocked your head at him, giving him a confused look. You obviously were, but you wouldn't tell him that.
"Of course not, Sev. I'm just saying that it's very clear that you're jealous of Cedric." You responded.
He rolled his eyes.
"I'm not jealous." He denied.
"That's what you said about Lupin," You announced; "I'm beginning to think that you're afraid."
He scoffed, crossing his arms over his chest. He was starting to think that you were messing with him, just as you had a few months ago the night of the Halloween dance. It still didn't help the burning envy he felt in his gut.
"And what would I be afraid of?" He presided.
You quickly glanced to make sure Pomfrey didn't hear this next sentence. It even made Severus' ears turn a flustered red.
"That you can't fuck me as well as they could."
He felt his entire body shut down and restart. Now he knew you were screwing with him. For a split second, he was relieved that you were feeling well enough to playfully banter with him this way. That feeling was gone before he had a chance to dwell on it. He was fired up.
"Is that a challenge?" He wondered.
He knew you would NEVER get involved with Lupin or anyone else. Although, the thought alone was enough to send him over the edge. He leaned in closer to you so his face was just centimeters from yours. His voice so deep and still that it almost caused you to give up your whole charade. You abruptly kissed him, paying special attention to his bottom lip. He pulled away first, stunned that you kissed him with someone else in the room.
"What's the matter, Sev? Afraid Lupin or Cedric might walk in?" You prodded.
You clearly knew he was more worried about Pomfrey, who was oblivious to the whole thing. Your comment caused Severus to press on.
"You think I won't show you that I'm better than Lupin or Diggory?" He mewled; "You're coming with me."
He reached for your wrist as if to help you out of bed. You swatted him away.
"Really? We just barely got away with our sleepover last night," You reminded him; "You really want to try that again?"
Severus let out a sigh that almost resembled a growl. He knew there was no way he'd be getting you out of here again. You suddenly remembered that you still had about another week in here. It would be at least next week before you could have another intimate moment, which made this even more deliciously fun, because he'd have a lot of time to stew over this.
"Next week, the second you're out of here...you're all mine." He growled.
You shifted in bed, ignoring the pressure you were beginning to feel in between your legs. He caught you arousal, so he didn't stop. If you were going to make the next week as sexually frustrating as possible, then so was he.
"Merlin only knows what I'm going to do to you. I wonder how you'd look tied up to my bed...crying out my nam-"
"Here we are, dear!" Pomfrey painfully interrupted. She was back with a whole plethora of medical supplies to re-stabilize your leg.
You wanted to curse at her for cutting off this moment. You were so ready to get out of here. Severus was smirking proudly. He knew he had turned the tables.
"You're looking a bit flushed. Are you feeling okay?" Pomfrey added upon studying your face.
You cleared your throat, wanting to smack Severus' look off of his face.
"Yep! Never better!" You squeaked.
Pomfrey was content with that, and began to splint your knee. Severus declared his departure.
"Apologies again for any inconveniences, Poppy. I will leave you and Miss [L/N] to it," He said. He rested a hand on your shoulder, brushing off your glare; "I hope to have you back in class soon."
You watched him walk out with his cascading robes and all, leaving you with nothing but your imagination. You threw your head back onto the pillow as Pomfrey continued to rough up your leg.
This was going to be a long week.
