Thank you so much for 4k!!
"I'm not so lonely anymore."

The days to follow were so tedious and dull that you were convinced you were being punished by the universe. Every day was exactly the same as the one before it. So much so that you totally lost track of what day or even what time it was.
Just about everyone you had ever been even remotely acquainted with had taken time out of their day to come visit you. Neville Longbottom, Seamus Finnigan, and Lavender Brown had all three come to see you for a little while. Seamus, the one who was least interested in Potions, even admitted that he had been missing your tutoring sessions. Neville was shameful when he told you that he was falling behind in his Potions class, considering he hadn't had any outside help. You heartened him by telling him not to stress himself over it, and that you'd resume your lessons as soon as you were out of the hospital.
Along with your tutored kids, all of your professors came by and hand delivered you any assignments. Professor Lupin even came by a few times just to see how you were doing and keep you company while he didn't have a class. It was really spirit lifting to see just how many people cared about you.
Alicia came by in the mornings right before her classes, and right after dinner before she returned to her dorm. She brought you anything from your dorm that you might have found yourself to need or want, like fresh clothes and stuff to do. She also kept you caught up on anything that was going on around Hogwarts. You were sort of out of the loop since being cooped up in the infirmary.
Your most frequent visitor, not surprisingly, was Severus.
Any spare moment he had, he was at your side. He gave up on trying to only show up when Pomfrey wasn't around, considering she always seemed to be there unless it was super early in the morning. Pomfrey was a little suspicious of how often Severus came by, but you both reassured her that it was strictly "assistant" stuff. After all, she had stressed to you how staying in a "normal" routine and doing your usual day to day things would prove to be beneficial.
Severus came by early in the mornings before his first class, before you were even awake, to see how your night had been, because he knew how unnerving it could be to sleep in such a depressing setting such as the infirmary. He would bring any homework for your Advanced Potions class in the afternoon (after you insisted that it wouldn't be fair for him to give you a pass on all of your missed work).
He would give you a basic rundown over what he had taught in class that day, although you rarely ever needed much of an explanation on anything considering you were so quick to pick up on Potions content. He'd basically stay with you until Pomfrey kicked him out at the end of the day, leaving you by your lonesome for the rest of the night, but only to wake up with him asleep at your bedside.
When Severus entered on Wednesday evening, you knew that he must have been coming from dinner, considering you had just finished your dinner that Pomfrey delivered just a few minutes ago. He gave a brief hello to Pomfrey as he entered, moving to sit next to you. You finished up your Defense Against the Dark Arts homework aside, along with your other finished assignments.
"Hi, Sev." You spoke as you sat up in bed, leaving your injured leg stretched out.
"How are you today?" He asked in return, as if he hadn't just seen you a few hours ago after his last class.
"I'm good, but I'm so bored. I'm going crazy in here." You said, reminding yourself of how monotonous your days had become.
The infirmary was covered with windows, but not much light was seeping in from the dark, night sky outside. The only light sources were the various lamps around the large space.
