Realistically speaking, he has severe ptsd and will probably be more open and apt to talk about some of his past with you more seeing as you will likely become even more aquatinted with his episodes.

That being said, he will eventually get to point where he feels comfortable and safe enough to probably shed some tears and allow you to be the one to hold him in his most vulnerable moments.
