Shaun and Duncan headcanons

(Assuming sole is married/in a relationship with Macready and these two are like step brothers)

•At first meeting, they both suffer from severe awkwardness. Shaun does so bc he wasn't exactly socialized with other children (even in the institute) and Duncan bc he's pretty much kind of scared. However, luckily the two warm up pretty well after they find out they both enjoy tinkering with things.

•Duncan teaches Shaun to pickpocket and pick locks.

•Shaun teaches Duncan how to modify weapons and not just build lame toys.

•Soon enough, the two of them act as though they've been the best of friends since birth.

•Strangely enough, the only sibling rivalry you'll see out of them is when they decide to be stupid and race each other to the dinner table. Or...when they decide to fight over who the "older brother" is. Spoiler alert, they never settle it.

•They end up terrorizing the settlement together on a weekly bases. Ever seen two boys tip a Brahmin? You're gonna. But don't worry- their mischief exceeds mediocre pranks.

•Shaun usually is able to sweet talk Mac and play the innocent card.....but Mac will one day wise up to it. One day.

•Insist on sharing a room- may even pester Sturges to build them bunk beds.

•Overall, they get into really stupid trouble. For instance, Duncan tried to give him and Shaun matching "bro" tattoos.

•While they don't fight often, Shaun still isn't above writing his name on stuff that's "his".

•X6-88 is the designated babysitter. Shaun is pleased, Duncan is horrified and scared to move.

•God help you if a rad storm rolls in...both of them are coming to bust through your bedroom door and crawl between you and Mac.
