Sunrises and kisses (Paladin Danse x SoSu)

(I swear I write for more characters than Danse and Maxson...I promise)

"Well...that's certainly one way to start the morning.." Danse panted, his hands lingering on your hips as you gently withdrew from him- promptly causing him to gasp once again.

As soon as your body was no longer in the way, the golden light of the sunrise bleeding through the window fell upon him. In a way, your Paladin looked divine like this- the droplets of sweat decorating his bare body glistening, the rich brown hue of his eyes turning a brilliant amber hue. More so, the light only further highlighted the beautiful blush adorning his nose- showcasing the light dusting of freckles that under normal circumstances seemed almost invisible.

The sight made your chest clench in the sweetest way, the desire to embrace him- despite being mere inches apart- already too much to bare. As such, you no longer wished to wash away the remnants of your coupling and get a start on the day so soon..even if the stickiness between your thighs was quickly becoming uncomfortable. Of course, this was probably for the best. You had every intention on inviting Danse to shower off with you, but you were no fool- inviting him to do such a thing would only result in another round and that just wasn't something either of you had the energy for just yet.

"I think it's my favourite way, by far." You responded, equally at a loss for breath. Slowly, as not to stress your already sore legs, you descended to his side and pressed a kiss to his forehead before finally resting your head upon the prominent curve of his pectoral muscle. "Can you think of a better way?"

In response, the Paladin kissed the top of your head and wrapped his arms around you. "Negative, I don't think even the most rigorous exercise would compare."

"What a way with words, Danse." You playfully chided, closing your eyes and sighing with a smile.

"Mmh, I love you.." "I love you too, Paladin."
