Loud music was throbbing through the walls and the dancing bodies. The air was thick and heavy with the smell of nicotine, weed and alcohol. When you focused really hard you could see the bass pulsing over the crowd like a rainbow shimmer, wavering through the room, clinging onto the bodies. Even if it might not seem like it, throwing parties like these were not as uncommon as one might think at Hogwarts. They tried to throw one of these at the end of every year, to celebrate their exams and say goodbye to their friends before leaving after the lessons, the next day.

"Estelle! Are you even listening? I just told you that Sirius asked me to stay with him over the break, he said we could stay in muggle London, because he wants to meet my parents, isn't that exciting. Do you think it's too early?"

The slender girl slowly turned around and plucked at her violet silk dress, before looking at the smaller ginger one uninterested.

"You know what I think about Sirius. So I don't really understand why you bother asking me for my opinion when you don't want to hear it anyway." Her voice was snide and annoyed. She didn't intend to hurt Nesrin, but when she saw the red flush creeping up the neck of the smaller one and her brown eyes watering, she felt bad. "Look, I'm just worried about you. You know how he is and I'm scared that he might be using y-"

"I don't understand how you can say something like that. You know I value your opinion. I always will and you are my dearest friend, but it's just that- You don't even know Sirius the way I do and you don't even bother give him another chance. Besides we've already talked about what happened at the Quidditch match and it was a mistake. God you can be so self absorbed sometimes, as my friend you should be encouraging me and my relationship."

"Nesrin, when I saw him cheating he didn't wait to insult me, when I confronted him. So I think I'm qualified to decide about his character."

"Maybe you just have too-"

The end of her sentence remained unsaid, because they got cut off by a loud male scream. The crowd parted and turned towards the center of the dance floor, where a tall gaunt Slytherin got pushed into the ground by a smaller but broader Gryffindor, both of them with long black curls, framing their faces: Sirius and Regulus Black.

"You don't have the right to judge me. Do you understand! If you're as smart as you always pretend to be, you'll make sure you stay the hell away from now on."

"Jealous of my accomplishments, Brother?"

The Gryffindor grew pale and threw a rather hard punch at the other one, before he stood up and left. The music was still throbbing and not soon after that, everyone started dancing and chatting again. Except for Regulus, who had a bloody nose and continued sitting on the ground.

"I don't know if you noticed, but this is a party, where you're supposed to be dancing, and you are blocking the dance floor."

Regulus snorted contemptuously, let his neck drop into his neck and extended a hand towards Estelle, which she pushed away disdainfully. He gave a hollow laugh and stood up by himself, which resulted in him towering over her. He wore black pants paired with a silky black shirt. His dark eyes scanned her up and down, while he wiped some blood away with the back of his hand. He smirked down at her.

"You should wear dresses like these more often. It's incredible how they make your body look. You almost look passable for once."

She scoffed and rolled her eyes before disappearing into the crowd again.

"Who is ready for the traditional muggle party game '7 minutes in heaven'?"

An approving murmur went through the crowd, which quickly organized in a circle. James Potter went in the middle and got ready to cast a random selection spell.
