Back at Hogwarts Regulus and Severus walked quietly next to each other, carefully to not draw any attention towards them. This was a lot harder than originally anticipated because no matter how hard Regulus tried to ban Estelle from his mind, her face, her voice, her scent wouldn't leave his head. Everything he felt towards her was completely irrational and undeniably wrong; he needed her and now he should feel no guilt to leave her alone again. He panted and had to stop walking for a second. A sharp pain had stroke through his head and made him see black for a moment. Immediately his heart started racing, when he realized that this had to come from Estelle. Their Leginimants sessions had formed a connection between their brains, even when they were miles apart from each other.

Estelle aparated back into the forbidden Forest after she found the notebook and unfortunately landed unluckily and let out a sharp breath of air.

"Please not now," she groaned, "Lumos." At First nothing happened and she was just about to panic, when she heard steps approaching her through the snow on the ground. The new school year was just around the corner.

"Selwyn?"

It was Regulus calling for her through the darkness of the forest, his glowing wand raised in front of him. Estelle was quick to hide the mysterious notebook under her clothes and raised her wand at him.

"Looks like it's not you coming back this time." He spoke to her, while stepping closer. Her head turned away from him as soon as he stepped close enough for her to see him clearly. His voice still caused her goosebumps and she cursed herself for still reacting to him like that, even after everything that he did. Not only did he betray her but now it was also her body betraying her and longing for his touch, his voice, his scent, just him.

"I can't help you if you don't speak."

He reached forward and gently placed a hand on her shoulder but quickly pulled it back, when he saw her shrug under his touch. A tearing sensation started to built in is guts, when he realized that she was afraid of him, afraid that he was going to hurt her.

"I'm good."

There was no point in forcing his help upon her, so Regulus gave her a short nod, before turning around and hurrying towards the castle. His head was spinning with all sorts of scenarios where she could get hurt of even killed by either the animals in the forest or by the unnatural cold. Inside the entrance his face hardened when he made the decision and started running towards the Gryffindor common room.

Carefully Estelle tried to move her foot, but the pain was so intense she feared to pass out if she would try it again. While sitting in the snow, her back straight leaned onto a tree watching the stars, the nausea started kicking in again. Today she had betrayed her family. Nesrin, Nerio, her mom and her dad. The words she said to Bellatrix wouldn't leave her mind, although she had to act like that to stay alive, she felt disgusted in herself. Disgust wasn't the only thing she felt, letting the day pass revue, her conversation with Regulus had made her feel nothing but pathetic. Pathetic because she knew that deep inside she had already forgiven him for going behind her back.

"Estelle?"

The male voice was familiar and she saw a tall and lanky brunette boy approaching her. It was Remus, who held his wand in front of him shining onto her in a dim light. Snowflakes caught in his hair and his cheeks were rosy from the cold.

"I thought you were never going to speak to me again." Although Estelle was in desperate need for help this snide comment slid past her lips before she could hold back. Ashamed of herself she lowered her eyes and looked at her foot again. The ankle was now visibly swollen and started to turn dark blue and purple. Remus had ignored her comment and kneeled down beside her, carefully putting his cloak around her shoulders to stop her shivering.
