A/n: Sorry this is short.

You had not planned on a trip to the Labyrinth, it was the heat of the moment, your pet had been winding you up relentlessly, and you had snapped. Snapped meaning you had wished them away to the Goblin king

Nor had you meant to anger Jareth; simply by getting through his Labyrinth at super speed.

Well,  until you started making your way through the forest when Jareth appeared. His attire the same, tight pants, big hair. "Jareth," Softly speaking his name, as he had made you jump with his sudden appearance.

His hands hands on his hips, as he went to walk towards you , only for his foot to roll outwards, him letting out a Yelp of pain as he towards, unable to save himself he had almost face palmed into the mud.

You however, had rushed forward grabbing his forearms saving his fall, his blue eyes looking back into your e/c ones, looking down at his feet, his left foot barely on the floor.

He clearly could not put pressure on his foot, you had pulled him gently towards a tree, to get him to sit down. "I don't need your help."

"Shut up, tight pants, sit down." Jareths face scrunched up in annoyance, allowing you to help him to the dry mud and grass, his back against the hard bark of the tree. Letting go of his hands, making your way to his injured foot.

Jareth had watched as you grabbed underneath his calf, lifting his leg from the ground.

"May I?" It is always a good idea to ask for consent before doing something, especially if it has to do with someone's body, definitely a king that could snap your neck. Always ask.

"Yes." His voice so quiet, you almost didn't hear him, his eyes avoided yours when you looked up to him, with a small smile.

Yes Jareth didn't give the best impression, but it all felt like a show, you felt bad for him, he had no one but the Goblins. It was kinda of honourable that he took the children, that got wished away, such as it were he was saving the children from people that did not want them.

Slowly pulling the boot of his his injured foot, you found a small sock, his foot little for a man, place his foot down gentle. Shrugging off your jacket, folding it up, to place under his foot. Jareths eyes stuck onto you the whole time, the little touches , from your fingers sending sparks up his leg.

"I suggest no heels, when in the forest, I think you look bodacious in them, but they simply not suitable or this landscape." Your voice was calmed as you gave a gentle squeeze on Jareth's leg, before making your way to sit next to him. You hadn't seen the blush upon his cheeks that worsened by the physical contact.

You weren't worried about making your way to the Goblin city, you were already so close 7 hours left still, you figured you had some time.

"Why aren't you carrying on? You didn't have to help me?" Your shoulders touching,,turning your face to look at him as did he, his eyes searched yours for answers.

"I've got time, you can rest for a while, and I'll help you back to your castle after,"

"Why would you help me? After I put you through my labyrinth?"

"Don't be like that, I did that, if anything why wouldn't I help you, like you don't save all those unwanted children, I know you care, you're not evil, not at all." Not that Jareth would admit it, but his heart-ached, he hadn't had anyone care for him in years , hundreds even. His throat dry, as he tried to hold back a sob.

Your smaller hand making it's way, into his as you squeezed his cold hand, a few seconds before he interlocked your hands properly. A small smile tugged at his lips, for years he tried to his hardest to show his worthiness to those that entered his labyrinth. Every single one had rejected his advances until now. His stomach twisted , at the thought of being loved, though he was scared to do anything about it.

He didn't know that you thought he was quite a catch, those butterflies erupted in your stomach too, at his touch.

"If I make it through your labyrinth-" The feeling was gone, Jareth's heart dropped. "will you still be able to come see me?" Your face flushed pink, embarrassed to be so forward, Jareth had to sit forward, hand still tightly in his, to look at you properly, just in case you were playing a joke. Concluding you weren't, he had grinned down to you.

"Only if you wish me too, I can only leave here if your feelings are true."

"I-if I love you?" Jareth's head snapped towards you, looking down at you lap, watching your thumb rub the back of Jareth's soft skinned hand.

"Do you?" How could you after six hours, but you had read the The labyrinth more than a dozen times, always you felt drawn to his character. Jareth's voice soft, as if he wouldn't be surprised if you just told him no out right, the feeling of rejection was not new to him.

"...I-I'm not completely certain, but if I did, would you?" You looked at Jareth, as he looked at you , your heart pounding your chest, you were only here because your pet had been misbehaving all day, and within 6 hours you had developed a crush on the Goblin king.

"Yes, yes I would." Looking into his mismatched pupils , him looking into yours, his pale hand made its way up to your flushed cheek. You felt yourself getting closer and closer to him, your lips almost touching. You felt your lips graze over his-

"Hello, there." A man had interrupted you, Jareth's hand dropped from your face as you had turned to face the familiar face, you recognised deeply, this beard trimmed , his hair blond and long. A metal object upon his belt, his shoes brown leather, his eyes the colour of the ocean. He had just popped out of ground, like a female dwarf, a Darrow dam.

"Who the bloody hell are you?" Jareth was confused on the appearance of the strange man, he had went to stand stand up, but instead you had helped him, trying to prevent the pressure off of his sprained ankle.

"Master Kenobi!"

Jareth's mouth gapped open in shock; as you smiled at the strange man waving, as he did the same. "You know this man?" Jareth was more than confused.

"Yeah, he's a Jedi, the best, he's here to help." Obi-wan had made his way over, taking your place, you going to other side of Jareth, even with Jareth's resistance. "That's right, now we must hurry, because my dinner is getting cold."

Before you knew it, all three of you made it to the Goblin castle, the Goblins allowing you past, only due to Jareth saying so.

"Well, this is goodbye little ones, it was a pleasure to make your acquaintances." With that Obi-wan was gone, you and Jareth continued on into his castle.

"Did that really just happen?" Your voice unconvinced with what you had just saw, even though both you and Jareth had seen him.

"Maybe, we just ate shrooms?" You had snorted at him, making him to turn his head at you and laugh. "I'm 100% , I didn't , I'm starving , I would've remembered, next time you should have a buffet." Jareth had smiled at you, finally making it to his throne.

Helping Jareth into his chair, it wasn't even seconds before your pet came running to you, sitting on floor, to pet them as they excitedly ran about. Jareth had cleared his thirst gaining your attention, a grin on his face, as he gestured for you to go sit with him on the throne.

Sitting gently on Jareth's lap, your pet again came running, sniffing at you , and then Jareth. "This is y/p/n." Jareth had weary went to pet your pet, you had ushered that is fine, your pet was friendly with some.. people.

"Uhm, Jareth?" Your voice soft as he now concentrated on your pet, honestly you were surprised they and him were okay with eachother, Jareth had turned to look at you briefly nodding his head.

"I love you."
