Summary: Feeling insecure about your chances with Leon,  after the events Los Iluminados you decide it is best to move on. Though , this becomes difficult  when you end up paired with Leon again.

Request: leon x reader in which reader feels insecure over ada? was thinking abt it later, maybe she hears leon telling ashley that ada is a part of him that he can't let go of. thaanks babe

You had to be paired with an agent that looked like he was straight out of a nineties boy band,  how was anyone supposed be okay when stuck with him.  Of course that was not  the main reason your feelings turned from platonic to well... not platonic.

Ah yes, Agent Leon S. Kennedy  , you had met him when you were both sent to rescue the presidents daughter, Ashley.  Though you  were a medic with barely any training your main purpose of these missions was your deep  knowledge of history of cults mostly. which was definitely needed since every which way you both were being attacked with chainsaws and anything else you could think of.  That man had the cheesiness, the eyes of Kurt Cobain and the soul that could match keanu reeves or misha collins.

And of course when you had finally got to Ashely and you began to escape, Ashley was kidnapped again. You and Leon then ran into Ada Wong. Unknowingly to you hadn't realised the close relationship the two had. 

"Need a ride, Handsome?"  Ada wong sat in boat a head of you and Leon , arm lent on the back of her seat as she looked on at you both, her eyes travelling up and down you. Biting her lip lip as she smirked.

" uh, okay."  Leon was not sure about Ada since last time; but at least she wasn't trying to kill you both.   Walking over to the boat Leon  went to sit in the front passenger seat 

" No,  the babe is sitting with me."  Leon looked at you , your cheeks hot you nodded before getting, his face followed you as you did. 

"I wish you had mentioned your girlfriend was so beautiful,  Leon. I would've came sooner."

" We just work together."  Answering before Leon, Ada let out a snort before eyeing you again, refusing to make eye contact you just looked at the water ahead.

"Hm, well, y/n do you have a boyfriend or maybe...a girlfriend?" You didn't know how she knew your name, you just hoped Leon mentioned it and she didn't I don't know require personal information.  Her tone was almost flirty, you had expected her to be all over Leon but you were wrong.

" No, no I don't."  Her head turned round  towards Leon behind you  smirking, you did not dare look at Leon. This whole situation had been awkward.

You were thinking about early again, replaying the situation.She was so bodaciously beautiful,  you saw the way Leon looked at her, it was obvious. He never looked at you like that. Shut up, when did he have the chance... he had the chance with her.   You barely know him, you cannot act like this, it's your jo-

A soft touch to your arm snapped you from mind back into this zombie filled world.   Looking towards the light pressure on your bare upper arm, Leon's  calloused palm on your skin, goosebumps appearing own your arm like sand.  Of course you didn't realise,  that Leon was actually pulling you along as you , Ashley and Leon ran. 

Forgot him catching Ashley at the bottom of the ladder he had thrown both of you into each onto of separate arms and had jumped. The landing jolting through his body into yours , his legs must've felt terrible. Placing you both back down , and grabbed your hand  firmly in his.  He could've grabbed Ashley's hand too, but time was sparing, well that's what you had thought. Breath heavy as you all ran, Ashely behind.  The stones crackling under your feet and pouring onto you from above.  Keys jangling against the key chains in Leon's other hand.
