My friend loteriel_greenleaf told me I should write this because my prom got cancelled due to corona , and in England we only get on prom and that's at the end of high school.

Which led you to join the fellowship, in which legolas had taken a liking to you. But you and Sam became bestfriends due to your love for potatoes.If you didn't like potatoes god , what the fuck was wrong.

Legolas would put his cloak over you in the night , when he saw you was cold, or shivering. Often when you couldn't sleep Legolas would sit night to you , and talk to you until you would fall asleep. He was very fond of taking to you, he liked to know about your world, and if someone had hair more majestic than his. Which you said sadly for him yes keanu reeves.

He was very sad when he heard that, so you told him he would have the most fabulous hair for a blond dude, as all the good blond dudes are dead.rest in peace river Phoenix. After you told him he had fabulous his eyes lit up like a puppy.

Once Gimil mentioned a drinking contest between him and legolas you wanted in.

"Oi, Gimil count me." You shouted towards Gimil , you had only been drunk once, that ended up with you dancing to shake it off and umbrella in which your whole family recorded. You knew you wouldn't win, but it would be fun right.

"If elves can't handle there liquor, humans definitely can't." He spoke smirking in your direction.

"I bet she could , dwarf. I'm positive." Legolas puffed his chest out defending you, smiling at you , you smiled back at him.

"Ooh you just fancy her." That led both of you and legolas to go pink you walked away to Sam, "I will beat you dwarf ,taller you are the more alcohol you can take" you pointed to your brain , like the more you know meme.

You were looking forward to getting drunk because you were a happy and dancing drunk, but you cannot stop drinking leading you to be sick a lot. But the fun but was great. Then maybe you'll have a certain prince to look after you. Heh.

You , and legolas walked into the pub together where everyone else was and slide into the wooden booth.Then Gimil slide In next to legolas.  A warm light spread unevenly throughout the building. The pine all a golden shade , matching the light. The light reflecting off of legolas' blond hair.

"Excuse ma'am can we have some pints over here please." You spoke towards the waitress, she nodded back you in understanding, walking away.

"Let's get smashed dude." You shouted excitedly , the others laughed.

"What do you mean smashed?" Legolas asked in confusion.

"Like completely and utterly drunk."

"Ooooh." You laugh at his cute face he makes, with puppy dog eyes.

After about 7 pints Gimil has passed out on the floor looking dead if you are honest but of a pig, and you are drunk , legolas is pretty much.  You lean your head on legolas' shoulder which he leans his head on your head. For a few minutes.

You sigh ,"what's w-wrong y/n/n(nickname" you are shocked he has never called you a nickname, woah , sounded pretty hawt.

"I was just t-thinking about my o-old worlddddddd." You slurred.

"At the end of schooooooool we would have this thing called prom it's b-basically a dance. And I never got the chance to go. " you sobbed to legolas , who felt very guilty, sad for you.

"Well if it's just dancing then let's have your prom now!" He dramatically throws his arms up , his hair flying into your face, you push it away spitting a little for the strands that went in your mouth. As your mouth was gaping open listening to legolas.

"Really? But who would d-dance with me?" You frown , sobering up a little.

"Me! Of course" he smiles widely at you.

"Y-you would dance with me but I can't rea-" he cuts you off by pulling you to your feet, causing you to fall forward into his chest. He wraps his arms around your waist keep you up.

"Thank you ." You whispered to him softly , loooking deep into his blue eyes him smiling back, the alcohol clearly hadn't worsen off yet. 

He pulled you by the hand to the dance floor, motioning the instrument players , to play something slow. However to you can with just hand gesturing I don't know but he did. "Ill teach you; to dance don't worry, Meleth nîn " you didn't know what that word meant but you were roo focus one what was about to happen.

Legolas grabbed both of your hands placing them too around his neck , while he placed his on your mid back, bring you both close together. He brought his mouth to your ear and whispered "put your feet on mine, then you can't go wrong." His words sending chills down your neck down your spine.

You place you feet on his , you mutter 'msorry''  "It doesn't hurt me ,Meleth nîn ,I am an elf." He removes own hand briefly to flex his bicep smirking.  Then placing his hand back on your back. You chuckle at his goofiness. As you lean on his feet he starts moving with the music, he leans his forehead against yours.

Smiling at you , looking you in the eyes , you lean up connecting  both of your lips together swiftly, the taste of beer lingering on his lips.  You smile into the kiss , pulling away slightly before rejoining them ,like a banana peel  fits so perfectly on a banana.  Legolas still swaying to the music, his blond hair tickling your face, Aragorn and the others watch in awe.

" thank you for being my first and own prom date legolas." You whisper to him.

He leans down to your eye yet again , "you are very welcome. Will you become my love?" He questions his voice entering your brain like Castiel changing the Winchester's lives.

"Only if you are mine."
