Taking my last peaceful breath before walking into the library, I search for the handle of space. Once I found it I made my way to an empty table, which ended up being the only table surrounded by shelf's filled with books of space.
I lean my bag on the table leg as I placed my binder on the table and took a seat. Only to hear foot steps approaching me, low and behold it's none other than Eli.
"Eli" I make eye contact with Eli
"Its Hawk, Emialia" he sassed back
"Mia, just Mia" I say under my breath
"Alright Mia, Mr. Brown gave you a list didn't he?"
"Actually yea he did" I reach for my bag and get a paper of all the assignments Eli should catch up on
"Shit why is it so long?" He whines
"Well Hawk, this is only half one Mr, Brown told me these are the most assignments that can boost your grade up"
"Do you know how long we're gonna be together, doing this bull shit?"
"Eli, language"
"Language my fucking ass, I rather fail this fucking class than be here waisting my time" Eli leans over the table very little and whispers
I can hear my own heart beating, feeling a big knot in my stomach not wanting to be near him. I was confused if wether to stay or leave, to yell at him or or to break down or cry. Why do I have to be so sensitive? I finally got the words to come out of my mouth, the only words I can come up with.
"Do you think I want to be here to? No. but i'm sucking it up and looking at the brighter side, i'm getting my credits" I explain to Eli
He rolls his eyes and leans back on his chair, all slouched. We took out our books and set them down on the table, there is a chalkboard in our section of the library. I had an idea for one of our assignments to complete.
"Eli, one of our assignments to complete is to combine a drawing and quote" I smile at him
"Yea no i'm no quoter" he says in annoyance
"No, Eli look it's fun trust me let's start with something fun." I smile big for him
"Here take a look at this" I whip my phone out my bag and show him a picture of my project.

Eli gives me a side eye like if he's thinking of something.
"You know what, that looks pretty creative.."
Eli gets up and walks to the chalkboard and stares at it for a few seconds, moments later he picks the white chalk laying on the boarder and starts to free hand on the board a beautiful quote "Never let fear decide your future" with the shadow of a silhouette karate kick.
He places the chalk down meanwhile I get up to take a quick photo. Both Eli and I are side by side within a what seems to be an empty library, I can hear his breathing I finally shift my feet to face him as he mirrors my motion.
"Eli."
"Mia"
We both are now making eye contact, not sure of the feeling I am experiencing at the moment. My knees are locked in, my stomach is trembling, I can feel my breathing get heavier as we made eye contact.
"You did amazing" I gave him a quick smile
"Strike first, Strike Hard-"
"No Mercy" I finish the quote for him noticing his eyes widen and eyebrows raised a bit
"You know Cobra kai? He questions my knowledge on the valleys most known dojo
"Eli...we're in the valley, plus Cobra kai is well known for its reputation" I place my phone in my back pocket and make my way back to my seat
"What's that supposed to mean?" I noticed a change in Eli's tone
"N-nothing"
"No Mia, what is Cobra Kai's "reputation"? Eli has a frown on his face
"Eli it wasn't a big deal, you have to write a paragraph about why you chose the drawing and quote." I lower both my head and voice while talking to him
He finally takes a seat back on his chair that's across from mine
"Bullshit. What is Cobra Kai's reputation, Mia?" I'm aware in his tone getting more demanding
"Eli I didn't mean it in th-"
"It's Hawk." He says under his breath
"I'm sorry look you have my number our time is almost up you can text me if you need anymore help." I get up swinging my bag around my shoulder and piling my books on top of my binder and heading out the library.
I speed walk my way out the library into the halls of South wing, my car isn't parked to far from here and I can probably make it through security without seeming suspicious.
I decide to take the Laboratory hall in order to avoid any staff from seeing me. Walking at a fast past I hear a males voice call my name.
"Mia!" I hear the males voice call my name and I turn around behold it be...
