Eli pulls out his wallet taking out a bill and tossing it to the guy. I look back at him in confusion, which i'm more in shock in that he's acting towards him this way when he was just fine outside.
"Your order will be right up." The boy says serious handing back Eli his change
"Keep it" Eli says
"Thank you" I whisper to the guy while Eli walks over to a empty table in the back of the parlor.
"Come on" I see Eli pulling out my chair waiting for me to sit in
This man has mood swings beyond belief which I never thought I notice would swing faster than a wrecking ball trying to break through concrete walls. Although the same innocent eyes I saw earlier were not the same ones i'm seeing right now. I decide to just take a seat and wait for our food without saying a peep.
A few minutes pass and we sit in silence waiting for our food, the same guy comes and brings us our food when he sets the food on the table, the back of his hand on accident dropped my utensils wrapped up in a napkin on the floor.
"My bad"
"Oh" We happen to say it at the same time reaching down for the utensils causing our hands to rub against one another's.
I quickly pull my hand away and sit up straight letting him pick it up.
"I'll bring you new ones" The young man said
"It's okay I won't be needing any" I smile towards him
"I-I'm Robby" He stutters
"Your waiter of course" Robby says quickly waving the utensils wrapped in a napkin in the air
I flash him a friendly smile before he walks away back to where he came from.
I extend a napkin in front of me on the table and grab a slice of pizza when I feel the same feeling I got earlier when Eli had his eyes raging at me.
I decide to look up and catch Eli tapping his finger in ever so mildly on the table, I raise my brows at him as in "what's wrong" motion.
"Robby" Eli says while I take a bite out of the pizza
"What" I put my hand over my mouth to cover the food
"Were getting a new waiter" Eli states
"Eli calm down it was an accident plus we don't need the-"
"I don't like the way he looks at you" Eli cuts me off
"Eli" I call his name
"Mia" Eli calls my name back
"It's okay he's just our waiter" I reassure him
When he said he didn't like the way our waiter Robby was looking at me, I was blown with confusion not knowing how to feel towards that remark Eli made.
"Eli.." I call his name to change the subject since I see his breathing getting heavy
"Yes" He questions
