"Deal Ms. Rea" Eli winks at me

The bell rang loudly as our peers got up quickly to head to their destination. Sam gets up waiting for us, Eli and I stand up at the same time trying to find a good yet believable excuse to let us walk out of here with 0 questioning.

"Hey I have to get something from my car i'll meet you in the cafeteria?" I grab Sam by the arm and caress it

She nods her head and walks out the class into the hallway filled with kids. Eli and I walk out together with a good distance to not look noticeable. The hallway is filled with students either talking, putting books away or transporting from one end of the hallway to the other.

Eli walks a bit faster and grabs me by the elbow shoving us into the janitor stairwell. We walk the stairs down quickly to exit in the back of the school where the faculty and staff park. Running while ducking in a lot filled with teachers and staffs car we make a run for my car.

I toss Eli the keys while we're running and he catches them smoothly. We both go our separate ways to discreetly open our car doors hoping in and trying to catch our breaths from running down the stairs and running all around the lot.

"That run is totally gonna be worth the slice of pizza" Eli sticks the key in the ignition starting the car up and stretches his arm around the head of my seat looking for any cars that might pop up.

"Everything is worth it as long as i'm with you" The words slip out my mouth effortlessly as Eli is backing out the parking space and pushes the breaks hard making my wheels screech

"W-What" Eli blinks multiple times trying to register what I just said

Don't let me fool you...I was trying to process what had just come out of my mouth in front of Eli

"I said that out loud didn't I?" I sink myself in my seat

"No not at all" Eli shakes what I said off

We both smile and he proceeds to drive away from the parking lot disregarding what I said.

After driving for a couple of minutes we pull into the pizzeria this time not parking to far from the entrance.

"Made you run, the least I can do is park close to the entrance" Eli smiles

"Well that was very thoughtful of you Eli" I open take off my seatbelt opening my door up while Eli does the same

We walk towards the entrance while Eli is in front of me, he opens the door and lets me walk in first heading to the cashier.

"We have about less than 25 min so let's get this over with" I look up at Eli as he looks down at me and we just smile at each other

We come to the register where a older man takes our order

"We will just get 2 slices of pizza please" I order

"Coke and a strawberry lemonade my friend" Eli taps on the bar

"Would that be all?" The older man checks in

"Yea that would be all sir" Eli says firmly

I reach for my wallet the money in my pocket when Eli places his hand on mine letting me know to put my money away. He slips his wallet out his pocket handing the man money to which the man puts it in the cash register.
