troubled teen Eli "Hawk" with violent and dangerous tendencies, sparks up something out of the ordinary with guarded up Emialia
What troubles or peace might this encounter bring both school girl and fighter?
He turns on the car and he pulls out the parking lot quick and speeding away quickly. His hand is on the gear knob squeezing it tightly, I place my pointer fingertip tracing his veins which seemed to calm him down. He slows down the car easing his foot off the gas.
I roll down my window and lean my head the car wall letting the air fill the car up blowing my hair back while my finger is still caressing his hand. I didn't know what I was exactly thinking in the moment I placed my skin against his but the silence between us got louder.
After driving a few miles I sense my phone vibrate, I take my hand off Eli's as he side eyes me. I reach for my phone which is my bag between my feet.
I check my phone to have a message from Moon and Sam.

I face Eli and tell him what the girls just sent me in the groupchat.
"Eli, Sam and Moon are throwing a party at the lake"
"Want to go?" He's yet to know I'm gonna ask him to buy the girls beer.
"Who's going?" Eli asks
"Everyone you know how Moon is with her parties" I laugh
"If it gets me out of this stupid paper sure" He smirks
"Jeez I totally forgot about that, don't think you got yourself out of it...I need those credits" My palm connect with my face
"Good luck i'm not writing a paper about If i'm a good person" He chuckles
"Ugh whatever, you're gonna do it. Also Moon and Sam asked if we can stop by to get beer" I let Eli know
"Okay I a know a guy." Eli accelerates the car as I grip the seat belt in fear
A half hour passes and we arrive in silence after leaving a old shack in the middle of god knows where. Old shack seemed like a corner store get with torn down plywood, stained wood, almost as if it came out a upcoming age movie.
Eli pulls the car up to the lake to only be greeted by the sight of the lake in the background on the pier stood almost every junior and senior from West Valley high. So much for Moon knowing everyone.
I open my door while Eli got the cases of beer off the back seat.
I close my door and head to Eli's side of the car to give him a hand when I hear Moon approaching us.
"You made it!" Moon has her beautiful smile on full display.
"And with Hawk" Moon waves at him when Miguel launches into the conversation
"Hawk my man" Eli was turned around by this point with the car door closed and setting the cases down to greet his friend Miguel with a handshake
"Miguel Ahah" Eli laughs in joy of seeing his best mate
"Eli brought you a little something" I tell Moon presenting her the cases of beer on the floor by Eli's feet
"Oh my you guys are life savers" She squeals in happiness
"Guys can you put this near the Kegs" She calls for Bert and Mitch
"Sure thing Moon" Bert and Mitch squeeze themselves Eli and I to reach for the cases.
"So shall we get this party going?" Moon shimmy's
"A party isn't a party without Hawk amirite?" Eli smirks while Moon and I laugh in the amount of second hand embarrassment we got.
We head down the small slope holding hands with Moon so we can lean on each other.
I'm greeted by our friends Sam, Demetri, Yas, and Kyler.
Yas and Demetri are staring at one another so passionately with both hatred and love. I'm happy to see Demetri happy, I see the content in eyes while I take a deep breath knowing he's happy.
I look over to Kyler and Sam dancing on each other so intensely. I'm dazed in confusion on how she even let him near her. Either way i'm happy to see the sight of my friends finding the other person who makes them happy.
Miguel and Moon on the other hand have this tension I can even tell. The tension is beautiful though, both fiercely eyeing each other while we all have different conversations going on. Miguel with Hawk and Moon and I.
"So you came with Hawk?" Moon smirks
"Huh- what no no ahah" I come to realization on what Moon was indicating
"No Eli and I are..." What are we, me and Eli?
"We're just acquaintances." I smile in confusion on the status of Eli and I
"Little birdy was telling me big bird is about to get back into Cobra Kai" Miguel jumps into Moon and I's convo now making it a 4 way convo between all of us.
"Wait you left?" Im in shock he wasn't in Cobra Kai
"Not exactly" Eli states
I give him a confused look while Moon tugs my arm as says she wants to get a drink
"Okay just a second, Eli do you want a drink?" I ask to break the small confusing situation we just had
"I'm driving so no thanks." Eli tells me while I get this rush in my body of chills and incomes the knot in my stomach.
Moon pulls my arm turning me away from Eli and Miguel who seem to go back into their conversation, We head to the keg were Moon fills her cup up with beer.
"You know Hawk is single right?" Moon smiles
"Hm?" I get caught off guard with Moons remark
"Yea he's totally single" Sam intrudes our convo near the keg
"What about Eli being single" I try to avoid what they are about to say
"Oh come on Emialia, you clearly have something for the boy" Sam says
"You get all tensed up around him like how you did with you know who" Sam was indicating how I used to get with Demetri
"Yea well that was different" I reach over the cooler getting a cold water
"The difference is Hawk actually digs you" I choke on my water when I see those words escape Moons mouth
"Yea no thank you" I rub the back of my hand wiping the water on my lips
"Just give it time Mia...Just give it time" Sam says slowly
I start to actually think if this study session is more than just a study session. Could it possibly be more than 2 people making up late work and getting credits. Two imperfect perfect teenagers, The top notch Valley fighter and the girl who happens to be in junior classes as a sophomore.
I turn to face Eli who is standing there with the smallest smirk on his face laughing with Miguel. His mohawk standing tall as so does he, his white long sleeve shirt covering his arms while his black tee shirt on top of that. The small bruise on his cheekbone right below his eye sitting purple on his face.

"Let's go dance" Moon interfered with my train of thought
