What troubles or peace might this encounter bring both school girl and fighter?
After everyone ate and calmed down cleaned up the house the afternoon came around pretty quickly. We did some fun arts and crafts to hang on the decently sized tree for the stay.
"Everyone put your art here so it can dry" Moon says laying down her craft on a rack
Everyone places their art on the rack when I see a small wooden frame made out of tongue depressors. On the bottom it reads "Binary Brothers for Life"...It was Eli's creation...I never noticed how much Demetri meant to Eli.
"Aye Moon whenever you're ready to give me the photos i'll just put it inside" Eli shouts at Moon from across the room while Moon gives him a heads up
"Binary Brothers huh?" I lightly touch the drying art
"He's a nerd deep down inside some people just have to dig" Demetri smiles looking down at the frame Eli made
"What photo are y'all gonna hang in there" I look up at Demetri
Demetri face lights up at the question I just asked and pulls out his phone from his back pocket. Scrolling through his phone he faces his screen to my face showing me a photo he posted on his instagram from last year.

"Guess you dug deep enough" I smile at the photo noticing how happy not only Eli is but Demetri.
My heart gets this small ache knowing Demetri was the first guy I ever felt something for. Now seeing him happy with Yasmine was hurtful but relieving he found his somewhat Amy to his Sheldon. Looking at Eli's "big bad tough guy" look disappear for a split second in a picture brings me comfort knowing he's the guy I truly like. No one has ever treated me the way he has, just like a jellybean rough on the surface but sweet and soft on the inside. All I ever wanted to be was okay, and he makes me feel that way. Okay.
"Were about to order take out what do y'all want" Sam says breaking my train of thought
"Regular" Demetri and I say at the same time
"Cool..." Sam says awkwardly
"You get the chowmian and orange chicken too?" Demetri questions me
"Only the best get that" I laugh
"What about to drink?" Demetri raises his left brow
"Strawberry lemonade" A deep voice from behind me says
"Eli dude guess what" I turn around to see Eli standing tall
"What's up" Eli and I have a eye to eye connection as Demetri and him do their firm handshake
"Let's talk over here" Demetri pulls Eli aside from me
I mind my way heading to the living room where everyone is sitting comfortably with their drinks and chatting. Surprising no arguments have broken out between people.
