Chapter Four

A/N: This is going to be a flash back chapter. It's going to be the story of how Hayley got the bracelet that was mentioned at the end of the last chapter.

Hayley POV

It's the start of the forth year and something exciting happened during summer. You know Cedric. Cedric Diggory. Well he asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes.

We are walking around Hogwarts holding hands and looking into each other's eyes. He's so cute. We make our way into the great hall then we go to our different tables. I hate not being in the same house as him. I just wanted to hold his hand right now, but instead I go and sit beside India. We see Dumbledore coming into the hall for one of his 'famous' speeches.

"There's Dumbledaddy." India whispered into my ear. Dumbledaddy is our nickname for Dumbledore since it's just funny.

"That's not his name." I said while play hitting her and she rolls her eyes.

"Welcome Students, as you know, the Triwizard tournament is coming up, and the school of Hogwarts have been asked to host the games." As soon as Dumbledore says that everyone whispers among themselves, that is until Dumbledore stops them. "SILENCE! Thank you, now please welcome the beautiful girls of Beauxbatons."

Everyone looks at the Beauxbatons girls when they make their entrance. It's so graceful. The way they move. They make their way to the front of the hall.

"Next up the boys from Durmstrang!" Dumbledore announced.

Everyone now looks at the Durmstrang boys when they make their entrance. They aren't as graceful as the Beauxbatons girls and there is a lot of banging. Everyone whispers to each other when the see Viktor Krum, the Seeker for the Bulgarian National Quidditch team. I honestly don't know what all the fuse is about him. He is probably a rude, arrogant ass who is the most self-centred person to walk the earth.

"SILENCE!! Thank you, I hope each and every one of you will be nice to our guests. Now off to bed everyone." Dumbledore demands and everyone get up from their seats and head to their common rooms.

It's a week to the yule ball and I'm so excited. Cedric hasn't asked me to the ball yet but I just know he is going to since we are together. I walk out to the courtyard and I see Cedric and other Hufflepuffs talking with Cho and other Ravenclaws. Why is he talking to her? I heard that Cedric used to fancy her, but I didn't know they were friends. He spots me then I wave over and he walks over to me.

"Hey Cedric." I said.

"Hi, can we talk?" He asked.

"Sure." I replied in an excited tone.

"I don't think we are going to work." He said.

"What? Why?" I question all confused.

"I like Cho and I'm going to be with her." He explained.

"Fine, if you like her you should be with her." I announced angrily.

"Thanks Hayley I knew you would understand." He happily said and was about to hug me but I stopped him.

"Don't touch me." I demanded.

"I thought you were fine with me breaking up with you." He replied in a confused tone.

"Just because a girl said she's fine doesn't make it true Diggory." I shouted then I ran away to the Slytherin common room and up to my room.

After an hour of crying into my pillow, I hear a knock at the door. "Who is it?" I asked making it sound like I wasn't crying.
