Chapter 18

"Gather around everyone, let's play " Esmay ordered

They all gathered together and Esmay brought out a bottle they would spin to choose who would go first, of course she was exempted from the game.

The bottled span for a while and then stopped at the young girl who had claimed she loved danger earlier

"Ohh I'm excited! "

Esmay gestured for her to stand in the middle pyramid on the ground

"truth or dare child? "

"I'll do a truth" she answered in a jolly manner

"okay then... Are you having an affair with your step brother? "

"what? "

"Answer the question child "

She froze for a while and then said "of course... Not "

"wrong answer "

Before the girl could say anything else, a dark cloud had covered her and she was immediately possessed to kill herself.

She had on the evil smile then picked up a bottle from the ground, broke it on herself and the remains in her hand, she used it to scratch herself all over and was soon covered in blood

"oh my God!, what is she doing?, someone stop her!! " her step brother cried out

"relax boy, it's part of the entertainment " Esmay said

"Now whose next?"

The girl seemed to have cut her veins which led to her death. She fell to the ground and began shaking, spitting out blood and blood oozing out from her body.

Esmay spun the bottle and it stopped at a young man

"what's your name boy? "

"uh-hm it's uh" he stammered

"boy!! " she yelled at him

"Scott "

"well Scott, truth or dare? "

"Uhm truth? "

"are you asking me? " she asked pointing at herself

"oh no ma'am, truth "

"are you single?"

"very single " he instantly replied
"next person " she said looking at the bottle

"that's it? " he asked shrugging his shoulders

"you want more? " she asked looking at him in an irritated manner

"oh no of course not " he instantly replied and sat back down

She spun the bottle and this time it ended at Myrtle

"Ah now it's getting fun oh and new rule, two truths two dares so now I guess you're left with a dare"

"I'll do anything " Myrtle replied obviously still compelled

"great, you and Rufus, now " she ordered

"alright then, let's get this show started" Rufus said as he stood up and pulled Myrtle towards him

Before Myrtle could even respond, his lips mashed against hers like he was trying to flatten her mouth, she seemed to be enjoying it. She hungrily pushed back, her mouth opened and pushed her tongue passed his clenched teeth to the moist space between soon enough, they were exploring each others mouths with their tongues. She let out a moan of satisfaction as he bit her lip and were once again entangled in the battle royal.

Esmay laughed as she watched Charlotte look away from the disgusting scene

"this is fun don't you think...... Okay cut it out, your starting to disgust me " she said out of annoyance

They soon came apart and Rufus took a deep breathe before saying "wow that was amazing, how did I not notice you!!, you Kiss better than Char" he glanced at Charlotte before sitting down

"yunno Charlotte, anything they say is what they've always wanted to say, I can't control that part of 'em. I guess you're boyfriend was never satisfied with you" she said smiling

The bottle ended at Charlotte this time and she had no choice but to play else she pays with her life

"I dare you to give me a tooth, anyone "

"oooh that's gonna hurt " Rufus said

Before Charlotte could carry out her dare, the door was kicked open by a police officer

"Everyone go home, games over " the officer instructed

They were all sad but they just had to listen to the officer, the dead body on the ground had suddenly disappeared.

They all evacuated but Esmay gave Charlotte one last evil glare before disappearing into the crowd.

"how did the cops know we were here? " Kai asked

"I guess they must have seen it on the internet and they know gathering of youths never end well " Charlotte replied

"so are we safe now? " Kai asked

"oh no, the game has just begun, I have to do my dare or I die "

"What Charlotte no, you can't do that!"

"I have no choice!! "

Kai was definitely not happy to hear that

Back at the house, Rufus, Myrtle, Chase and Lottie were already there, Charlotte decided to just ignore them since they weren't her friends anymore or at least for that moment, until she could free them from Esmay's spell.

"Babe! " Lottie called out to Charlotte

She ran to her and hugged her tight and the others joined in.

"what's going on, are... are you guys back to normal? " she asked out of confusion

"yes we are and I'm sorry for kissing your boyfriend " Myrtle said looking sad

"I don't care about that, all I care about is you guys, I'm happy you're my friends again!"

They all gathered in for another big hug, she was so happy her friends were back to normal, though she lied when she said she hadn't felt bad when they kissed.

The doorbell rang once and when they asked who it was, they got no reply. Kai decided to check if someone was there but when he opened it, nobody was there but there was a package on the ground and he picked it up and brought it inside.

The package was meant for Charlotte since her name was written boldly on it but it didn't say who it was from.

"what is it? " Lottie asked

"I don't know " Charlotte replied

"well who's it from? " Rufus asked pointing at the parcel

"it didn't say"

She shook it and heard noises of something inside. She placed it in a table with the intention of opening it.

When she opened it, it was her phone that was in it and there seemed to be an unread message.

She tapped the screen of the phone and viewed the message

"shall we play? "

She showed them the message and they sighed with dissapointment

"I thought it was over? " Lottie asked

"no way, this is just the beginning"
