Relationships, love, romance, kisses. All those are beautiful and wonderful sensations that gives you butterfly, the beautiful feeling you get when you kiss, the specialty you get from love, everything is wonderful.
The way it makes you feel special when someone says 'I love you', the feeling of happiness you derive from relationship and love, all those are special feeling you never want to loose.
When your partner is away, the feeling of longing, waiting, it's also love but there's also a saying that goes 'letting go of someone you care for is also love'
Do you ever want to let go of your loved one?, do you believe that you only know you love her when you let her go?
Break-ups, heart break, sadness, tears, hatred, regret... All those feelings accompany relationships, sometimes you wish you had never dated someone am I right?
Sometimes you hate yourself for ever falling in love, that's where you see people who don't believe in love, they tell you love is just a feeling of infatuation.
From my research, I realize that some people never actually experienced real love, some people believe there's no such thing as love, some say it's just your sexual attraction to the opposite sex.
What do you believe love is?
Rufus here is heart broken, sure he only dated her at first just because, but now he had fallen in love with her but her heart is now somewhere else, with someone else, her best friend.
Life is messed up, it just isn't fair. It gives you a cup of water with the intention of taking the whole water supply away.
Why does love have to be so hard?, why did Chase come?, why does she think I don't love her?
All those thoughts ran through Rufus's mind, he hated love, despised it, hated himself as well for loving two women
Back then in highschool , he never had the intention of dating Charlotte, he was a senior, but she was famous, beautiful and very bright, in his academics, he wasn't very smart so he needed to boost his grades if he wanted to enter a good college.
He had just broken up with his girlfriend, a famous blogger and was desperate for another, he had his eye on Myrtle but his friends had mocked him for liking her for some reason.
And then there was Charlotte, every man's dream woman, smart, beautiful and famous as well.
If he dated her, he would have a partner, a tutor and also a beautiful lady, he could kill three birds with one stone. So why not just give it a go?

He said to him back in highschool, what was Charlotte to him?, a toy, his key to gold city in his words, a tool, a way to get back at his friends, a way to make his ex jealous but was she ever considered as a girlfriend or a lover?
You only need the light when it's burning low
Only miss the sun when it starts to snow
Only know you've been high when you're feeling low
Only hate the road when you're missing home
You only know know you love her when you let her go
And you let her go...
He never knew he loved her this much, from the very beginning, she knew he was just playing with her heart but she didn't want to let go... Why?
So many questions you ask yourself after a break up, so many things cross your mind, depression hits you like a hard rock to the face.
You ask yourself, will I ever be happy again?, will I find someone as special as that again? But the main question you ask yourself... Will I ever get over you?
So many avoid relationships because of its bad sides, the bad feeling it comes with, sadness. But what they fail to understand is, when you meet your Mr or Mrs right, sure there will be hard times and probably some times you will feel like quitting, you would want to just run away and hide behind your bed covers forever, but when you have the right person, love will always find you.
Rufus here has been struck with one of the side effects of relationships, depression
His heart is shattered, what shall he do?, move on with a nice new pretty girl, go back and beg Charlotte or go back to his first choice... Myrtle
To the guys now, what would you do when your heart has chosen two ladies?, if you were in such a situation as Rufus's, what would you do?
To the ladies, you endured the pain of dating a guy that doesn't really love you from the start, you probably already have feelings for him along the way, but you feel he doesn't really want you as much as you want him, now you're heart has chosen another who had always liked you, what would you do?
Rufus didn't want to go home, not now, not ever.
The rage in him could push him to do something he might regret to Chase because he knew, even though it was mainly his fault from the start, Chase is also part of it.
She had fallen for him and he knew it.
He decided to drink out his sorrows, he visited an old bar and ordered for the strongest gin they had, something that would knock him out.
He drank and drank but depression requested for more
What could he do?, nothing but to drink more
No food, no water, just alcohol which he believed would was away his sorrows
He had drank so much that the owner of the bar was scared for him.
His absence was requested, the old man had bluntly refused to sell any more drinks to Rufus, if something bad happens to him outside the old man's bar, he doesn't have to settle anything with the police but if something happens to Rufus in his bar, it would be on him.
The man had searched through Rufus's phone and called Kai to pick up his friend, he explained to him how drunk he had gotten and that he wouldn't make it home on his own.
"there goes another youth, a fine young man as him, drinking so early in the morning, getting wasted for God knows what " the old man had said out of pity
"they say the youths are the leaders of tomorrow, but all the youth just want to do is get wasted and throw parties. What would be the fate of the country if youths take over? " a customer said
"nothing good for sure, the country would be doomed if someone like him ruled " the old man replied shaking his head as he watched Rufus stumbling in a drunken manner
'someone like him' someone who depends on alcohol when he feels stressed or depressed
So many bad talks about the youth and our bad behaviours, smoking, drinking and other atrocities, yes they are bad but they don't know what pushed us to do it
I'm not advising anyone to do bad when you get hurt, fighting fire with fire, you'll just get burnt
I believe Rufus has already been burnt with the fire of love
What love could do to us...
Heart break and depression, sadness and self criticism, hatred and anger...
Maybe, just maybe
