"The more the merrier " what was that supposed to mean?.

Charlotte stared at the message and it made her feel more guilty for putting the life of her brother and her boyfriend in danger as well.

She thought to herself for a moment, "should I come clean now?, more importantly would anyone believe me?".

If she told them the truth, no one would believe her, she is already in too deep.

"Hey, let's go "

The words of Rufus pulled her out of her thoughts.

She nodded with a fake smile and they exited the building.

They arrived at the dorm which was already set for Lottie's welcome back party, a few friends where present with gifts for Lottie.

One of the students walked towards Lottie and placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Are you okay, we saw the news and we were worried sick about you "

"I'm fine, there's nothing to be worried about " Lottie said.

More friends soon arrived and it was finally looking like a party.

They drank and danced and played different silly games.

Charlotte excused herself from the room, she claimed she needed some fresh air.

Rufus noticed and went after her.
"Babe are you okay?... "

"I'm fine, it was just a bit crowded in there "

"Are you sure? "

She looked into his eyes and thought maybe she should tell him.

He had worry written all over his face.

'should I tell him, would he believe me, would he think I'm crazy '

All those thoughts played through her head but one question made her worry the most.

'would he hate me for putting his life in danger '.

She thought to herself, if she told him, would he ever forgive her?, was she ready to loose an awesome boyfriend like him.

"I am, why wouldn't I be ".

Nope, she was not ready to loose him.

"I believe you then, just know that your troubles are mine as well, what ever might be bothering you, feel free to tell me, I'm here for you and I Won't Leave you no matter what " he said reassuringly.

She thought to herself again, should she give it a try.

Only if those words he said were true, only if she could read his mind to see if truly he wouldn't leave her.

The messy situation she was in, she knew she needed the help of everyone so she couldn't loose him.

"I......" she completed the rest in her head 'I let out a spirit somehow and now I'm putting all your lives in danger, and I'm really sorry '.

She was too scared to admit the truth.

Rufus raised a curious brow waiting for her to complete her sentence but it seemed she had no plans of doing such.

"You what?"

She smiled and then said to him
"I love you ".

"I love you too"

He pulled her in, kissed her forehead and hugged her tight.

She didn't want to let go, she wished that she could have that moment for life.
