Nathan's Journal
Several months passed since Vega watched Peter die in her arms, Xavier had found us a new place for us to call home. Vega had been spending most of her time preparing for the arrival of the baby, I decided to see how she was doing when I seen her sitting in the window looking out into thr courtyard. I was about to leave her alone to think when she seen me standing outside the door of her room.
Vega: you can come in Nathan, it's okay.
Nathan: I was just going to see how you were doing...
Vega: his death is something I'm still getting over but I know everything is going to be okay.
Nathan: before he left, he asked me to look after you but I don't want to overstep any boundaries...
Vega: I promise you won't be overstepping any boundaries, you are a good friend Nathan and Peter obviously seen the good in you if he asked you to look after me.
Nathan: I don't know exactly what you and him went through before we met but I can be more than a friend if you give me the chance.
Vega: it is going to take time but things will change between us, I promise you that much Nathan.
I was about to say something else when I heard professor Xavier clearing his throat.
Xavier: I hate to interrupt but there is someone here to see you Vega.
I walked alongside of her as she followed close behind the professor as he led us to a small room that he turned into his office.
Xavier: I will leave you two alone to talk, come Nathan there are things we need to discuss.
