Vega's point of view
Being forced to stay at the mansion with Peter drove me crazy, while Nathan left with the professor and my dad went searching for Stryker's hide out but I was reluctant to make use of this time with him to set things straight with him just in case he decided to leave after this was over with.
Peter: professor Xavier said we would be here alone for a few days so I figured we could get to know each other.
Vega: just to make one thing clear Peter, I am married.
Peter: I am aware of your relationship but I was hoping we could be friends...
Vega: friends will be a great thing, since we will alone together for the next few days.
Peter: I couldn't help but notice this little guy never wanting to leave your side, what is his name?
Vega: we named him Alex...
Peter: we?
Vega: Nathan and myself.
Peter: on the way here Logan and the professor spoke of an unborn child and how the mother conceived many months ago before they needed my assistance.
Vega: Nathan isn't his father but he loves Alex like his own.
Peter: so what happened to his father?
Vega: he...
I wanted to tell him the truth but didn't know how he would take the news of Alex being his son but I heard a voice in the back of my mind telling me that I needed to tell him the truth...
Peter: is everything okay Vega?
Vega: everything is fine...
Peter: so where is Alex's father?
Vega: you're his father. I watched you die while I held you in my arms, you left to protect us but you were killed by Stryker's men.
Peter: if you were my girl I would never leave you behind and I am sorry if I did that but it is impossible for me to believe that Alex is my son.
Vega: believe it or not but I promise he is your son and I hope you will stick around for his sake no matter what odds you go up against all odds.
Peter: I don't plan on going anywhere else.
