Nathan's Dialogue

A year had passed since Vega left the mansion after saying goodbye to Peter and myself, she hadn't been in contact with anyone except the professor who seems to believe her discovering other things is great for her. I did the unthinkable and went to speak with Peter.

Nathan: can we talk?

Peter: if this is about Vega leaving then no, I don't want to talk.

Nathan: I was just wondering if she may have contacted you. I can see that you have other plans so I will leave so you can think about the way you asked her to leave, I know you wanted her to leave as well.

Peter: you're wrong, I never wanted that for her, she deserves to be happy. It seems that you wanted to keep her here, why is that?

Nathan: so I could protect her, I know her father is keeping her safe but it isn't enough. Anyone can harm her and her father can't protect her alone.

Peter: you doubt her power because she rarely uses it, I see why she wanted to leave because you don't believe in her.

I didn't want to tell him but he was right, I didn't believe in her when I should, I needed to know that she was safe and the only way I could do that was to go to where she was and see her.

I headed to the professor's office and asked him if he could tell me where Vega was, I wouldn't rest until I seen for myself that she was safe.

Xavier: I know that you are concerned for her safety but it will just make her stay away from here that much longer.

Nathan: I need to know that nothing bad has happened to her.

Xavier: what you lack is a sense of understanding...

Nathan: and what is it that I don't understand?

Xavier: you need to understand that she can protect herself, just like Logan she was created by Stryker because he seen something that nobody else did.

Nathan: can you help me or not?

Xavier: I can tell you but it's up to her whether she wants to be found or not and it won't be fair since she left, especially after telling you that she left to keep you and Peter from arguing. I can't stop you from leaving but I think it would be only fair if Peter go with you.
