[Louis]

With pencil in hand, I stare at the homework, laid out in front of me on my desk. Zoning in and out from reality. I am so done with this.
Buzz
The sound of buzzing snaps me out of my trance. I look over to the corner of my desk and see my phone lit up with a text from Liam

(Editors note) Rest in peace, Liam :( You will be missed, we lost you too soon. Fly high Payno.

"Tommo, I'm so bored. Wanna hang out? I don't care where we go, but I'm kind of hungry"

"Sure, there's a good food place in the mall that we can go to, cuz I know you like to shop"

">:( fine, mall it is. See you soon"

I push back in my chair and get up from my desk a little too quickly and get super dizzy. I should eat something small, it might help.
I open my closet and without thinking, I grab a green sweater and some grey sweatpants.
After slipping into my clothes, I walk into the bathroom and fix my hair so it doesn't look like I haven't brushed it in two days even though I brushed it this morning.

I walk out my room and down the stairs to see my mom before I left. She never really cared where I went, as long as I'm safe and she knows who I'm hanging out with.
I see her standing at the sink in the kitchen doing the dishes.

"Hey mom, I'm going to go hang out with Liam at the mall if that's okay?" I knew it would be okay but it was good to ask anyway.

"Yes of course, just don't be home too late. Also, I probably won't be home when you get back because I am going to work a double shift today" She always worked a double shift. I kinda wish that she could be home more often but I had no say in it. Plus she is trying her best and I love her for that.

"Okay, well I better get going so I don't miss the bus, Love you!" I walk out of the kitchen and towards the front door.
I slip my sneakers onto my feet and throw my backpack over my shoulder and swing the door open. Just like that I walked out of the place that I love to call home.

I walk down the street, the crisp autumn air hitting my face. I make my way to the bus stop, watching the leaves moving through the air and admiring the colours they contain.
The bus stop wasn't too far from my house, only a five minute walk. But I enjoyed it.
As I approached the bus stop I saw that no one was there. A wave of relief flows over me. I hate standing there, awkwardly waiting for the bus with a random person that I didn't know.

Once the bus arrived, I got on and walked to the very back, so people didn't notice me very much.
I didn't like it when people looked at me. It always seems like they're judging me in some way.
I never did like being in public alone, it felt like all eyes were on me and I didn't like that. Weirdly enough, it was only when I was alone. When I was with Liam I could be as loud and annoying as I can possibly be without worrying about all the looks we were getting.
Once I sat down, I opened my bag and pulled out my headphones. I put them in, hoping that the music could distract me from the people looking at me.

Once the bus came to a full stop in front of the mall I got up and thanked the bus driver. I always found it disrespectful if you didn't thank them, they just drove you to your destination. I know it's their job to do it but I always liked to thank them because it was the polite thing to do.

I got off the bus and started walking towards the mall. As I came closer I saw the brown haired lad that I was glad to call my best friend, leaning against a pole looking down at his phone with a wide smile on his face.
