- Chapter 4 -

"Come on, we better leave before sunset. Searching is going to take hours at this rate." Wolf sighed. We had been looking for clues of where Kipo may be since, apparently, she'd be back by now.

"Not to skip ahead and stuff but why don't we head to our old base in the Deathstalker's territory for our next hideout?" I suggested.

"Fine, but we still have today to be searching. We'll head down there at dusk, and remember, don't become targets." She said, eyeing mostly me and Dave.

I awkwardly smiled, seeing as she looked at me. Wolf told us to split up and look in these 4 specific places, apparently Wolf said that's where Kipo may be. We had to meet back at the old hideout that i mentioned at dusk. I decided to go to what i thought looked like a less-scary place, it was an abandoned street with a few broken-down stores. I looked around for any footprints or at least- any clues. For some reason, my sense of smell got really good and i could smell almost everything. I smelled around the area and it didn't seem like anyone at all, not even a few mutes had been here. I sighed. My sense of smell got back to normal as i could only smell the musty air. That was odd, i wonder why i could smell almost anything.. After checking pretty much the whole area, i decided to wander into the forest. I wouldn't be too long so Wolf and the others wouldn't have to worry. After walking for a bit i saw a crumbled wall with an eye symbol. That's not somethin you see everyday, besides all the crazy mutes that is..

All the sudden it felt like i was eaten by something. I opened my eyes it i was in something or someone's mouth. Yuck.. It was all slimy and dark. A few minutes later after tumbling around in this slimy mouth i was spit out onto the ground where i heard weird noises, or some sort of chanting. Great, did i make to some sort of witches territory?! I mumbled. The chanting seemed to stop and i looked up to see two giant pig mutes, they kinda looked like Mandu but bigger and had tusks. Huh. I also spotted three goats that must've been chanting something. They had their hooves in some sort of pot. One of the goats walked up to me and slapped me in the face with cheese. What the-

"Oooohhh the cheese says we have a visitor!" The goat had said. Talking cheese? that's new..

"Well yeah- It told us all that y'know." Another said.

"Right.. Right.."

"Uh where am i exactly?" I asked the goats as one of the pigs licked off some of the cheese from my face. Disgusting.

"We can't exactly tell you, but we know your here for a reason." One of the taller goats said.

"And the reason is..?" I tilted my head.

"Here, come sit with us and i'll tell you why." I sat down on one of the logs near them. "A while ago, when you were younger, your friend Kipo, her dad had brought her here to help with her part-mute side. If you didn't know, her dad had given her an injection to make her part mute, in which is a jaguar. Not long after Kipo was born, you became her best friend. Her dad had a special mixture of the same injection he had given Kipo. It was a mix from different mutes and most of it was unknown on how he got it. The mixture included a few mega animals such as a jaguar, deer, and a dragon-like animal. The other things included in it were mythical beings. No one really know how or why he had them but they were in it." One of the goat's explained.

"So what does that have to do with me..?" I asked. I had already been surprised that Kipo was part-mute but i didn't want to blurt out anymore.

"Now hold on, i'm not finished." The goat chuckled.

"Sorry!"

"Anyways, Kipo's dad had left the mixture on the counter for a minute and while you were at Kipo's house for a sleepover, you must've thought it was a drink because he had noticed that the beaker was empty- So he quickly realized that you had drank it but he didn't want to tell you because you might've freaked out. So while you and Kipo were asleep he came to us for guidance on what he should do about it. I told him that she'll come here when she's ready. And now your here. Does that answer your question?" The taller goat finished saying.

"I- uh yeah actually.. That's kinda of a lot to take in, heh. So i'm going to become this mega mute or something?!"

"Yes, the actual name Kipo's father had come up with for it was Solaxy. I'm not sure exactly why but maybe the mega mute your going to become will have some sort of relation to space and what not." The other said.

"Oh, alright." I responded.

"How about we make some cheese now!" The shorter goat said.

"Cheese? Is that suppose to help me become Solaxy or??" I asked, puzzled.

"Maybe, maybe not. We'll have to find out." The taller one said. Great, more mystery's... I mumbled

The goats led me to a cave with a bunch of cooking supplies and a giant pot in the middle. 'i wonder how they see all this stuff.. Since, apparently, their blind.' I thought.

"Now what i want you to do is start mixing in the pot once we add the ingredients. We'll try to throw challenges at you and see if the mega is there." The tall goat said.

I started mixing what was in the pot and the goats started to literally throw the ingredients around, almost missing the pot. I tried to catch one the ingredients but then a butcher knife was thrown my way, i dodged it and tall ears popped out from where my human ears were. A small set of deer-like horns sprouted from my head as well, serving as protection from anything that were to be thrown near my head. One of the goats smiled, which most likely meant they knew I could be Solaxy. They continued to throw ingredients my way and reddish-orange ombré fur covered both of my arms. It was sparkly with small glowing specks of stars. Interesting.

"So does this happen under pressure or like when i'm nervous?" I asked one of the goats.

"It seems so."

After the ingredient fiasco, the goats helped me finish making the cheese. It calmed me down so the fur, horns, and ears when away.

"Now whenever you want to get rid of any of Solaxy popping out, just think of making cheese. If you need Solaxy, just imagine how it felt under pressure." The goats said, sending me on my way. I felt like i finally mastered being Solaxy. Or so i thought.

"How do i become the mega version of Solaxy though?" I asked.

"Solaxy will come when the time is right. Just remember you need someone special to become the mega." The tall goat added.

"Someone special?"

"Yes, i'm pretty sure you'd know who that is by now.."

I blushed. It's not Kipo is it?! The goats said their goodbyes and waved. I waved back and headed down the forest.

What a weird day..
