Three updates in a month? WHO IS SHE?

I have really got into Shadowhunters lately, and am now getting tons of writing ideas and prompts from Malec fan fictions....

A loud, piercing cry woke Kurt and Blaine Anderson-Hummel from their peaceful sleep in each other's arms.

Slowly opening his tired eyes, Blaine smirked as he said to his husband "Your daughter is awake again." In a slurred voice.

Without opening his eyes, Kurt turned around to face the wall as he responded with a snarky "She's yours until sunrise." and fell back to sleep.

Laughing at his husband's sleepy comments, Blaine dragged himself out of bed and down the hall towards their baby daughter's room, her wailing slowly getting louder as she grew more impatient.

"Hey, hey Tracy, its ok sweetheart!" Blaine cooed, entering the room and scooping the two month-old into his arms. He lightly brushed her Blonde curls off of her sweaty forehead and kissed her cherub nose. The nose and hair colour that she had inherited perfectly from her biological mother Quinn. The only features she seemed to have inherited from Blaine was his wildly curly hair and, by the way things were looking, his height.

But none of that mattered, because Kurt and Blaine loved her.

She blinked her brown eyes at her dad a few times, before they eventually fluttered closed and her crying fell to a light snuffling as she settled into the crook of Blaine's arm. Kissing her again, Blaine gently placed his daughter back in her crib and crept back into bed.

As he pulled the covers back over himself, he felt an arm fling across his waist and a head bury itself into his armpit.

"Oh, so now you want to be all affectionate?"

"Sorry for making you deal with Trace. I'm just really tired."

Blaine smirked. "Thats ok, you can get up with Ollie in the morning."

"I hate you."

"Love you too."

there was stillness for a moment, but then Blaine felt a kiss press to his neck.

Oliver Anderson-Hummel was the liveliest five year-old known to mankind. At 5:30 am precisely, he bounded into his parent's room and leapt onto their bed, jumping up and down and asking to wake up.

Kurt slapped his husband's arm when he laughed at Kurt dragging himself out of bed.

"Good morning sunshine." He said, swooping the bouncing child into his arms and carrying him into the living room.

After flopping down on the couch, Kurt asked his son "can we just watch TV for a little while before we do anything too loud?", his eyes already beginning to fall closed.

"No way papa! It's morning time, so we have to PLAY!" the little boy responded, climbing onto his papa's lap and brushing his chestnut brown bangs out of his face. (At least one of their children inherited one of their father's more prominent features.)

With a sigh, Kurt crouched down on the floor to play.

A few hours later, Blaine entered the room with a rather smelly Tracy in his arms. "Good morning." He said to his husband as he dropped a quick kiss on his cheek, to a "Ewww, daddy kissed papa!" from Ollie.

Other than that morning kiss, the couple barely interacted again the whole day, constantly tending to one or both of their (extremely demanding) children.  It wasn't until late afternoon, When Quinn decided to drop by after work, that Kurt and Blaine had the chance to sit down together.

"Look boys, you know I love you and think you always look gorgeous, but....you both look exhausted. Did you not get much sleep last night?" She asked, taking a sip from her coffee as she held a sleeping Tracy in her arms.

The pair thought for a moment. "Well uh, we got about the same about of sleep last night that we do most nights." Kurt responded.

"and that is?"

"About three hours each." Blaine answered.

"Wow. Ok listen, what you two need is a weekend to yourselves. No kids, no distractions, just each other. Because by the looks of it, you guys haven't sat down for longer than a minute since Tracy was born." Quinn said.

The pair had to admit, a weekend away did sound nice.

"No matter what he tells you, Ollie only gets one story at bedtime. Tracy doesn't like it if her milk is too cold, so before giving it to her we normally wait around 5 minutes for it to cool down before-" Kurt's worried rambles were cut off by his dad.

"Kurt, son, I love you, but please get out of here. I can really see why Quinn is sending you guys to a hotel for the weekend." Burt said, laughing as he shoved his son and his husband out of the door.

Blaine took in his husband's worried expression under the pale porch light of the Hummel's house. "Kurt, honey, they're going to be fine. They do know how to look after children you know." he said, looping his arm through Kurt's as they walked towards their car.

"You're right. lets get to that hotel and enjoy the time we're going to have alone." Kurt said, squeezing Blaine's arm slightly as they arrived at the car.

"Oh, I think we will."

The pair stumbled into their hotel room after a romantic candle lit dinner in the restaurant down the street.

They had decided to come home just before dessert, and although the walk back to the hotel should only have taken them about five minutes, it ended up taking about twenty due to the fact that they stopped in multiple alleyways to make out.

When they finally arrived back in their room, Kurt had already shrugged his dinner jacket off of his shoulders and Blaine already had his top three buttons undone, kissing all the while.

They fell back onto the bed and finally broke apart when both of their shirts were laying crumpled up beside them. Breathing heavily, Blaine gestured around him. "This bed is...really comfortable." he remarked.

Kurt fell back against the pillows. "You're right. It is really comfy. And warm. God i'm tired." He said, almost regretfully. Kurt looked at Blaine out of the corner of his eye. "I uh....kinda want to go to sleep." He said hesitantly.

"Oh thank god me too." Blaine said, wriggling out of his trousers and getting under the covers as Kurt did the same.

after comfortably resting his head on Blaine's chest, Kurt giggled slightly as a memory came to him.

"Hey Blaine?"

"yeah?"

"remember when we first moved in together, and I asked if we were turning each other into an old married couple?"

Blaine wondered where he was going with this. "yeah..."

"It's finally happened."

Blaine laughed as he wrapped his arms tighter around the wonderful man that he married, drifting off to a (finally) peaceful sleep together.
