"And the tony goes to...Rachel Berry, Jane Austen Sings!"
Kurt and Blaine stood up and cheered as the mother of their future child slowly walked up to the stage to claim her award. Blaine placed his hand on his husband's shoulder and they smiled at each other as Rachel finished her acceptance speech. "Look at her hand," Kurt whispered. "She is holding her hand over our baby, protecting them." Blaine leaned his head on Kurt's shoulder.

A few hours later, Rachel's Tony award party was in full swing, With everyone already extremely drunk apart from Kurt, Blaine, Jesse, Mercedes and Rachel herself; all of whom were either designated drivers or had work the next day. Or were eight months pregnant.
"Rachel, are you ok? you have been weirdly quiet all night." mercedes asked, who was sitting in between Kurt and Jesse on the couch of her apartment (Mercedes had the biggest one).
"Huh? yeah I'm fine, I'm just still taking it all in. besides, this is the latest I've been awake since I got pregnant." she said with a yawn.
Blaine instantly focused his attention onto her. "Make sure you're not straining yourself too much, If your tired Rachel maybe you should go to bed..."
"Blaine, I'm fine, and I promise you the baby is too. although going to bed isn't a bad idea. I'm going to go lie down in mercedes guest room. goodnight guys!" She said smiling as she walked away.
-
an hour after wishing rachel goodnight, Kurt was walking out of the bathroom when he heard a small cry of "Jesse!" coming from the guest room. Recognising the voice, Kurt spinted into the room, seeing Rachel sitting on soaking wet sheets, a look of panic on her face.
"Kurt! My water just broke! Get Jesse, Get Blaine, Get a car, we need to go!" she said in a rush.
Kurt said nothing, he just ran out of the room and back to the party, stopping in front of the three other sober people in the house. "Kurt are you ok?" Jesse asked.
"NO! RACHEL'S WATER JUST BROKE AND WE NEED TO GO NOW!!" Kurt yelled at the group.
It was like an electric shock had passed though all of them. the trio jumped up, all talking at once. Jesse and mercedes ran to go get Rachel and carry her to the car, whilst Blaine and Kurt rushed downstairs into the car.
They sat there waiting, until Blaine said: "Kurt. we're having a baby. tonight." He turned to look at his husband, with tears of joy in his eyes.
"ohmygod we are having a baby TONIGHT!" Kurt said gleefully, throwing his arms round Blaine's neck and kissing him. The pair held tight to each other until Jesse lifted Rachel into the car.
-
Arriving at the hospital, because Jesse had called ahead a wheelchair was waiting for the group and Rachel was wheeled straight into the delivery room.
Kurt, Blaine and Jesse quickly put on their sanitary scrubs and rushed into the room with Rachel, who was already sweating and panting slightly.
The three guys assumed their positions around her, holding her hands and wiping the sweat off of her forehead. Blaine looked across at Kurt. They locked eyes for a moment, seeing excitement, fear and love all in a few seconds. Then the nurse said it was time to push.
-
"AHhhhhhhhhhh!" shouted Rachel one last time, when the sound of another person crying suddenly joined her, and a baby was placed lightly on her chest.
There was not a dry eye in the room. all three men were crying, and rachel had tears rolling down her face as she cradled the child close to her chest.
she Quickly stopped however, and handed the baby to the nurses to get checked over. "so that I don't get to attached." Rachel said, smiling sadly.
"Hey, you are still their mom. You are going to have a great relationship with our baby, I promise." Kurt said, wrapping his arms around Blaine's waist. "Yeah Rachel, I mean, we kinda owe it to you." Blaine said, laughing.
"Congratulations! It's a girl!" The nurse said, gently handing her over to Blaine. He began to cry happy tears as Kurt leaned his head over Blaine's Shoulder and smiled down at their gorgeous baby girl.
"Do you have any idea of a name?" The nurse asked politely.
"Tracy Anderson-Hummel." Kurt and Blaine said in unison. They had both always loved the name Tracy, and even after five years, they could never get enough of their joint last name.
Blaine passed their daughter to Kurt, who cuddled her close and smiled at her lovingly. "Hi, Tracy." He whispered.
-
The boys were laying face to face on their bed, 3 month old Tracy in between them. She was grabbing at her toy rattles, which her dads were putting in the air and waving around in front of her. She giggled as she caught one and Blaine tickled her gently.
Kurt smiled across at his husband and pressed their foreheads together, smiling at their daughter below them.
