Kurt tried to catch his breath as he looked at a blushing Blaine, who was raking his hands through his gelled hair sheepishly. Kurt couldn't help but look down and smile as he realised what had just happened.

He kissed me. He actually kissed me.

Blaine glanced back up at the other boy, and grinned almost cheekily. "We uh.... we should practice." He said, putting his hands in his lap.

Normally Kurt would never had said this, but he was in a particularly good mood. "I thought we were." he replied flirtatiously.

simultaneously, both boys got to their feet and reconnected their lips in an even more heated kiss.   Kurt's hands flew upwards to Blaine's red cheeks, whereas Blaine's fluttered downwards to rest on Kurt's hips and pull him closer.

after a few minutes of kissing with a healthy mixture of smiles, giggles, and looking deeply into each other's eyes, a slow, loud clap began to ring out in the common room.

Springing apart and both of them blushing furiously, the boy's looked towards the source of the clapping with wide eyes.

Laughing, shaking their heads and clapping, stood Wes and Trent.

Turning to his counterpart, Trent spoke. "Wes, would you be so kind as to pay up that Twenty dollars you now owe me?" he asked politely.

Blaine's mouth fell open. "Wait wait wait, you guys put a Bet on us?"

Kurt blushed an even deeper shade of red, if that was physically possible.

"How could we not? You guys made heart eyes at each other so often we were counting down the days until one of you finally kissed the other." Wes said, rolling his eyes as he pulled out his wallet.

Blaine collapsed into a chair. "I can't believe this...So everyone knew we liked each other...apart from us?"

At that, Kurt perked up. "Blaine, I was very much aware of the fact that I liked you, it was just you who was oblivious." He smiled jokingly.

Trent and Wes laughed, before walking to a different door at each side of the room. Kurt looked at them in confusion. "Wait, what are you-" But the doors had already opened, and the warblers began flowing into the room, looking curiously in the direction of the flustered boys.

Kurt and Blaine looked at each other once, then silently moved to sit at the back of the room to not draw too much attention to themselves.

That lasted for all of about ten seconds.

Wes loudly banged his gavel on the desk. "Attention warblers, before we begin rehearsal for regionals, I have an official announcement to make." He paused for dramatic effect (typical Wes). "Half the people in this room are about to be twenty dollars richer, and the other half are about to be angry that they are out twenty dollars."

Every head in the room snapped towards the boys in the back, before chaos erupted.

"THEY KISSED ALREADY?"

"About time!"

"Nick? nick? NICK! GIVE ME MY TWENTY DOLLARS!"

"No David, I am not giving you forty because you had a feeling it would be today."

"Could they not have waited like a week longer?"

"Klaine. is. born."

"But I thought we had decided on blurt?"

After looking at Kurt with a very overwhelmed and confused look on his face, Blaine finally stood up. "STOP. Are you seriously telling me that everyone in this room made a bet on when me and Kurt would kiss?" He said, silencing them all.

Wes calmly got to his feet. "Everyone who said they would kiss before regionals, please collect your twenty dollars. Everyone who said they would kiss in their inevitable happiness from our regionals win, pay up." He said quietly, before sitting down again.

Blaine just blinked at him.

Kurt gently tugged at the other boy's arm, causing him to sit down again.

Blaine spluttered in disbelief, he couldn't believe his friends would make a bet on his own love life. "Kurt...I had no idea that-"

But Kurt just shushed him and smiled, nervously reaching for Blaine's hand. He linked their fingers together and the pair settled down on the brown couch, watching the rest of the warblers grumbling and paying one another.

One that isn't a thousand words long? WHO IS SHE.
