Forgive and Forget

I smiled as I watched my children playing outside the house. It's three in the afternoon kaya hinayaan ko silang maglaro sa labas since hindi na naman ganun kainit ang araw.

George is not yet here. He's busy doing our afternoon snack. This is our family bonding again. Naalala ko tuloy si Lola, she's doing her best para magkaroon ako ng mga kaibigan dahil lagi raw akong malungkot kapag nag-iisa ako. And she did, I found my bestfriends that lead me to this journey.

"Siobhan!" rinig kong pagalit na sigaw ni Russel.

Kinulit na naman kasi nito ang kambal niyang tahimik na nagbabasa sa isang sulok. I saw how Siobhan laughed at her twin. Kung titingnan mo sila sa malayo ay magkahawig ka sila pero kapag sa malapitan na ay doon mo lang makikita ang pagkakaiba nila.

Russel has a small mole on his nose while Siobhan has none. They both actually pretty good at school. Lagi silang nasasama sa high honor student.

"Habulin mo 'ko kung gusto mong kuhanin itong libro mo!" she shouted too.

I was laughing out loud nang nilapitan ako ni Josh. He's holding a cup of coffee and put it on my table. Ginulo ko ang buhok nito at hinalikan sa pisngi.

"You're so sweet darling, " saad ko.

He sweetly smiled at me.

"I hope you love that mom. I made that myself," he said a bit nervous.

Oh, he made it pala. He watched me intently while I'm sipping on my coffee that he made. It's a bit bitter pero hindi ko iyon ipinahalata.

"Don't you love it?" he asked when I put the cup of coffee on the table.

I didn't hesitate to answer him honestly.

"Uhm, it's bitter Anak. You should put a little sugar para creamy," I suggested.

He slowly nodded and smile at me.

"Okay! I'll make you one again!" he excitedly said.

Umalis na nga ito at nagpunta na sa kusina. Josh knows how to clean the house but he didn't know how to cook. He said that he wants to be a good cook para daw laging siya ang magluluto saamin. He's so damn sweet.

"Mommy! " masayang bungad saakin nina Sofia and Solene.

They ran towards me and kissed my cheeks. Pawis na pawis sila habang nakiupo sa upuan ko. "Girls, I think you should clean first before we talk. Amoy pawis na kayo, " I said.

They followed my request tsaka sila nagpunta sa room nila. Nang makaalis na sila ay nagpatuloy ako sa panonood sa kambal ko. Tawang-tawa si Siobhan nang madulas si Russel. Gulong-gulo na ang buhok nito at maputik na rin ang damit nito.

"Mom! Look what Siobhan did to me!" pagsusumbong ni Russel saakin.

Tumayo na ako at lumapit upang pigilan na si Siobhan. She's too much na.

"Siobhan matanda ka na. Do not bully your twin," I said pretending I'm mad at her.

Para siyang pusa na agad tumigil. She pouted at lumapit saamin. She held my hand and hugged my waist.

"I'm sorry mom. I just love bullying Russel," she said pouting.

"Bullying is not good babe. You know that right? You're already fourteen but you act like a baby. Discipline yourself Siobhan," pangangaral ko sakanya.
