Chapter 18 practice day 2

Today the offence switched to defence and they were on a role.
There were touch downs flying everywhere mainly produced by Owen. Zara was on the bleachers like last time with Angel and even though her and Linda didn't get along too well it didn't stop her from getting to know Angel well.

Last night
Both girls got home and moving people brought Linda and Angel stuff to settle in, like there old stuff from their old apartment.
"You will be sharing a room with your sister." Linda informed Zara
"Yea don't address her like that.. just say Angel." Zara spoke with a neutral tone. She was still weirded out by the whole situation.

"Zara?! Please." her mom intervened glaring at Zara.
However, she continued to mind her business as she headed to the living room. Soon after her mom approached her.
"Zara please.. can you be considerate for once, I know we have had our differences, but the only person in the wrong here is your father. Stop blaming others for his mess." Julie walked away and Zara realized that she could be right.

It wasn't Angel fault her dad cheated and neither was it Linda's so she decided that she wouldn't terrorize them anymore at least or act like a bitch to them it wasn't fair. She saw Linda unpacking her clothing and in some type of apology Zara went to go help her.

"You must be fifthly rich so why are you clawing at us?" Her apology wasn't perfect.
"Im not." Linda replied being focussed on on un packing her clothes
"Well you act like you just came from a big mansion with like 3 maids." Zara chuckled
"I am not.. I'm actually a stripper." Linda's mom replied as she stop folding watching Zara's reaction
Zara was shocked.
"Cool." Zara remarked almost impressed

" what's your stripper name?" She went on
"That's a story for another time Zara. I just want to focus on unpacking my clothes." She replied with a slight smile. While Zara nodded continuing to help her unpack her things.

Back to today practice got cut short because how good they were playing.
Zara dashed down the bleachers and ran to Owen and wrapped her arms around his neck and he put one arm around her back and spun her around.
"You did soo good!!!" She said squeezing him tighter
"Thank you." He exclaimed as he put her down and the boys were a bit confused because she had never been this touchy with Owen before.
Zara turned to Leo and messed his hair up a bit.
"Hey." She said smiling at him
Leo smiled back
"Hey Zara."
"Zara who's your friend?" Marty blurted keeping his eye on Angel
"She isn't my friend." She paused her statement until Angel finished walking down the bleachers
"This is my half sister Angel." She added showcasing her with the movement of her hands.

Before they got to voice their opinion the coach called them back give them important news.
The boys walked back to the coach and were excited to hear what he had to say.
While Zara and Angel stayed back a bit but could still hear him.
" we will be having a early school vacation to Palms Square Camp!" The coach exclaimed
The team expressed their in excited cheers and clapping.
" Do we get to come." Zara urgently interrupted
"Yea it's all grade 11s that get to attend." He answered her.
He then handed out the form to the football team and to Zara and Angel.

"Let's head to the diner moneys on me." Zayn said rushing up behind Owen and Marty to wrap his arms around their necks Leo was walking by Angel. And Zara was in between Angel and Owen. As they all left the school and walked to the Diner a few minutes from their school.
