Chapter 59: Gossip

Today was the DAY!

The girls and I had already woken up early around 5 to get ready. They looked drained because they stayed up almost all night, but I had enough sleep.
I was by the vanity straightening my hair and waving the ends as I stated yesterday. My makeup was done earlier around 5:20 and so far for me every thing was great.

Angel was taking a shower and Ryan was waiting for her to finish practically dosing off.
I sighed looking at her through the mirror.
"Ryan!" I yelled waking her up instantly
"Yea." She said sloppy and tired.
"Your going with Mitchell right?" I asked trying to keep her awake
"Yea, I am." She mumbled with a soft smile
"Well wake the fuck up this is the night we've been waiting for.  Camp is nearly finish girl." I encourage her making her get up from the floor

Angel got out finally and Ryan rushed in. I didn't know who was taking her to the dance and I was scared to ask because what if she had no one and I made her feel bad.
"Your hair looks nice." She praised walking into the closet. I couldn't tell if she was in a good mood
"Thank youuu" I said with a big smile on my face

"What are you doing with yours." I asked finishing up with my hair
"I'm gonna slick it back and bump the ends." She cheered getting excited.
"Oooo that would look amazing!!" I boasted with joy watching her face light up.

"I knowww I think Cole would really like it." She stated walking back into the closet
"Cole???" I cheered loudly in question

"Cole Anderson!" She bragged coming out of the closet with spare clothes and makeup
"I fucking knew it!" I laughed switching off the straightener
"Well things happen.. " she shrugged her shoulders with a grin on her face.
"Good for you Angel." I smiled

It was now 7:00 and we were all finished the dance didn't start till 6:00pm so there was no point in changing into our dresses. Which made me remember.
"Guys." I said loudly catching Ryan and Angels attention
"What." They said at the same time
"I wanna get my nails done.. can we sneak out?"
"Hell yea! My nails look rough anyway." Ryan blurted while we both turned our attention to Angel.

"You don't have to come." I stated thinking she wouldn't want to.
"No it's fine. I've never actually gotten my nails done and we can make it back in time." She agreed, I was a little surprised but too excited to care.

"Alright then let's get outta here before it's too late." And we walked out of the room.
Luckily the staff was really busy setting up the place it looked amazing so far. The colour theme was a cream white even though the cabin was brown they some how managed to make it look so white and fancy.

Thankfully they made an outdoor and indoor setting because of how many the students there were. The outdoor setting was gorgeous. There were fairy lights and pretty big flowers in pillar like vases. Snacks and drinks were by a large table to the side under a tent. Plus it was sunny making everything look pretty.

Some of the girls had changed into their dresses already. They looked really good the dresses looked formal and fancy. I'm not sure why they did though the dance wasn't even close to starting but a lot of them were taking pictures so that's probably why.

We reached down the last step and headed outside. I think it was better to call an Uber now because we got caught last time with the car. I wonder what happened to the guy. And why he didn't report it..

"The Uber should be here in 5 minutes." I declared looking at my phone
"What colour are you guys getting?" I added putting my phone in my blue back pack I carry everywhere

"Since I'm wearing a black dress, I want black nails I'll pair with gold jewelry." Ryan claimed picking at her nails
"I want a nude matte thing because those look really nice." Angel added
"I'll get white because I like the colour and I want jewelry too." I concluded.

"But I definitely think the black and gold is definitely your style Ry." I added
"Yeaa I just get red carpet vibes from it I guess." She smiled twiddling her fingers
"Yea it's brilliant." Angel exclaimed.

"but I really hope today will be a good one. We've come so far you know." She beamed with happiness
"Yea, from Owen to you and Mitchel to you and Marty breaking up. By the way did you guys see his spam." I uttered changing the subject.
"I did oh my gosh!" Angel blurted
"He's so weird it's crazy, like bros before hoes. This isn't seventh grade the fuck." She added in disgust at his actions

"He just wants attention. I told you he ain't shit." Ryan declared picking at her nails with an 'I told you so' expression on her face.
"I know I know." Angel sighed

"Wait Angel do you think Cole's a virgin?" Ryan asked her considering she's never had sex.
"We're just friends Ryan calm yourself." She stated humbling Ryan's thoughts.
"I want to take things slow and actually get to know him. All the other stuff can come later." She added looking at me.
"I agree and you guys would be great friends and I can see you guys date too." I remarked.

"But he definitely isn't a virgin." I added
"YUP.." Ryan said after
"Anyways... you were telling us how far we've come?" Angel implied changing the subject.

"Right!" I paused thinking of what I was going to say
"To me getting really sad. The saddest I've ever been. Probably the lowest too." I sighed looking down.
"You okay now." Angel asked concerned
"Yea I'm okay." I implied letting out a small smile
"We were really worried about you." Ryan sighed placing her hand on my shoulder

"What got you in that mess in the first place?" Ryan added. I figured I should just tell them now

"Before sneaking out Owen and I had sex." I admitted watching there jaw drop at my words
"I knew IT." Ryan yelled out with a smile
"Shhhh." I said to her
"Zara when were you gonna tell us!!" Angel cheered

"I have no idea I wasn't even focussed on the sex anymore because he didn't pull out."
"WHAT!" Ryan yelled out again. While Angel snapped her hand onto her own mouth.

"Is 'she' THAT good???" Ryan blurted pointing down to her area making me die of laughter.
"OH MY GOSH STOP" I laughed trying to catch my breath.
"Is she???" Angel said still with her hand covering her mouth.

"I don't know???? I think he did it because right before he was about to finish I said I loved him."
I watched as there jaws dropped again
"Well no fucking shit Zara!" Ryan laughed
"I just liked that I had the power over him in that way and I do love him so why not." I stated proudly

"Did he make you finish?" Ryan asked so suddenly
"Yes."
"Ooooooo." Ryan and Angel said at the same time
"It was good don't worry." I chuckled
Uber finally came.

"Where too ladies." The driver asked in a cheerful tone
"Nail Salon" Ryan declared.
It was a good nail shop I've been going for years now. And the staff loved me so it was my favourite place.
"Alright buckle up!"
And we did.

A couple minutes later we finally reached. There store was filled with customers today. The day that was actually important everyone decided to show up.
There was even a line outside. We were now the fifth standing in the line.

It scared me a bit but it was only 7am and the dance didn't start for the next 11 hours we had time. I looked into the store and it was full line of 4 people just standing there.

Why was everyone here now? This place is barely busy. I rolled my eyes at the thought glancing over at Ryan who was over it too.

"You didn't tell me the line would be this big Zara." Angel rolled her eyes
"I didn't know- it's never THIS busy so.." I sighed in exhaust I could already tell people were getting impatient.

"Should we just leave and go to another one?" Ryan asked.
"No... see, one person just finished." I stated looking at the person who I thought finished but instead she got right back onto the seat.

"Let's just go." Ryan said in defeat
And we agreed leaving the store.

There was another place a couple minutes away. It was more expensive but we had enough cash to pay it off. And our nails were basic any way so I don't think they would cost as much.
