Zara's POV

It was noon so far we had gotten through 3 fun I guess activities. I didn't smile through any of them and neither did Leo. Ryan and Angel didn't have a hard time especially Angel who was of course with fuck ass Marty. My sadness kinda turned into anger. Mainly cause the camp leaders would see me down and just tell me to cheer up. I really wanted to punch them across the face. But I faked a smile and pushed on. If that stupid ugly cop did anything to Owen, I will kill him.

We were planning on telling Marty, and leaving as a group today, but it was lunch and we couldn't leave now. It would be to risky. We were sitting in the outside arrangement around the back of the cabin. I didn't say anything neither did Leo, Ryan was on her phone texting guys a couple years older then her to make Mitchel jealous and Angel was snuggling with Marty playing with his short hair.
Just watching me. I could tell in the corner of my eye.

I feel like she thought I wanted to kill myself or something. I didn't, well it depended on wether Owen was alive or not.                                                                                                                                                         "Hey Zara... you okay?" she asked in a pitty tone as if I was some kid who had just bruised a knee. I looked at her with a blank expression on my face filled with emptiness and nodded. Not gonna lie I look a mess and everyone knew that but I think they were afraid to say anything.

"Clearly shes not, I mean look at her." Marty chirped. I wasn't prepared this time to hear him voice his opinion so I didn't respond. Angel hit him lightly signalling for him to shut up and he did with a smile that slipped out.

It's like he does it on purpose.                                                                                                                                        "Whats the fuck is funny." I finally mumbled in annoyance.
"Holy shit she speaks." he chuckled
"Dude if your mad I stole your bestie you can just say that." I smirked as I watched that smile turn into a frown.

"Zara!" Angel judged me I looked at her and purposely threw a fake smile in her face. She wasn't happy but that wasn't my problem. Marty decides to talk in the worst places at the wrong time.
"I mean shes not lying... Marty is an actual dumb ass who talks to much." Ryan joined in still texting on her phone.
"Exactly." I smiled

"You guys are so mean." Angel defended him giving us annoyed looks while Marty didn't have anything to say. Maybe I was being a little to harsh

"can we all just sit and enjoy the food please." she pleaded running her hands through Marty's short brown hair. I rolled my eyes and they continued
And silence soon ended her statement.

I looked over at Leo and he practically looked lifeless. For some reason I wanted to keep strong for him, even though I needed a hug, but no ones hug could cheer me up likes Owens. I missed him and was eager to save him and beat Ashley's ass.
"You alright Leo. If you don't mind me asking." Marty questioned giving me a dirty side eye
"I've been better." Leo answered with a fake smile
" By the way wheres Owen? He wasn't in our room today and I cant find him anywhere." Marty questioned looking at me again. He finally decides to ask now.
