Chapter 41: Finally

Zara's POV

We were finally here after a silent awkward ride, I didn't say anything this time and I didn't bark orders. I mean I didn't have to we did fine last time apart from going to a different house. Leo parked across from Ashley's house and we walked to the side of the house.
It was a mansion almost in the middle of no where. Leo had found it from scrolling through old text messages of him and Owen.

We reached the basement window I crossed my fingers hoping he was in there, I looked back at the group and they nodded signalizing I should check and I did. I looked through the window and it was dark again. " Is he in there?" Angel asked, I kept searching for him but I couldn't see him.

"I don't know." I said removing my hand from the window. " I'm gonna bang on it and see what happens." I added and they responded with a nod.

I took a deep breath and banged on the window 3 times. "Please Owen." I whispered under my breath, and no response. " I'll try." Leo mentioned and I moved out of the way while Ryan and Angel hugged me.

Leo banged it harder then me 5 times and still no response, "maybe he's asleep." Leo uttered as he searched through the window which was pitch black. I nodded trying not to get emotional but I couldn't help it.

"Just do it one more time Leo." I spoke as my lips quivered. And he looked at me and nodded his eyes got glossy.

Right as he was going to bang the door again he appeared from the darkness

" Owen!" I shrieked unhanding Angel and Ryan and dashed to the window he was looking up at us and placed his hand on the window and I placed mine right by his as I saw I tear fall down his eye.

"Where gonna get you outta here bro."Leo added while everyone else rushed to the window. I couldn't hear a word he was saying but he kissed his hand and place it by the window where my hand was.

I mouthed the words I love you to him and he smiled. He was hurt really bad blood was dripping down from his head and there was a huge band aid on his shoulder. Bruises were all over his body and his shirt was ripped and his hoodie was gone.

"We gotta hurry guys, I'll knock." Mitchel suggested and I nodded as he walked towards the door. I didn't leave Owens side and I didn't move my hand from his.

I'm so glad he was alive.

"Hey I'm- Ashley?" Mitchel said as she shut the door behind her.
"Ashley??" Leo uttered in question as he ran to her and the rest followed. " I'll be back." I mouthed to Owen and he nodded allowing me to storm up to Ashley quickly.

They were gathered in a group and Ashley was shushing everyone, My sadness turned into anger as I strutted to her to and grabbed her shoulder forcing her to face me and I slapped her across the face, causing her to stumble to the ground.

"Fuck you." I growled at her as I was held back by Angel. "You did this and now he's hurt!" I yelled attempting to hit her again while she gathered herself together. Angel was trying to calm me down but I was furious, I wanted to kill her. I manage to get out of Angel's grip and just has I was going to hit her again until Mitchel and Ryan held me back.

" Let me go!" I yelled fighting through them.
"Zara you have to calm down or we won't get Owen out of here at all." Leo advised me looking into my eyes.

"We get him and get out remember." He added reassuring me with what I said previously. I looked away from him nodding and Ashley was finally standing properly.

"I'm so-"
"shut the fuck up." I barked cutting her off. "I will never forgive you." I added while being held back by Mitchel, Angel, and Ryan.

She nodded sadly in response. Fucking pathetic, I was happy I made a mark on her face.
