i wasn't going to update today but this story has been moving up very quickly in the ranks! #105 in xxxtentacion, i'm so happy!

the train finally stops, and jahseh wastes no time sliding open the car doors, the bright morning sunshine flowing in in a matter of half a second. "here we are, arizona." he gestures to the tall buildings in the distance, and the considerable amount of mom and pop shops that are only some meters away from us. my eyes widen slightly at the new sight, as i've never been anywhere outside california, really. there was no need for us to vacation anywhere else, because california pretty much has everything.

jahseh turns away from the scenery, putting his attention on me.

"get your shit together, sunshine, we're finna blow this bitch."

i get up as told and gather my things, slinging my duffel bag over my shoulder.

"when we get to this hotel, put most of those things away. i'll get you a backpack so you don't have to carry that big ass bag all the time." jahseh says, putting on his backpack with ease, running a hand through his hair. he then gestures to the open car door.

"ladies first."

i hop down from the train car and jahseh comes right after me, and i walk beside him as we walk in the direction of the nearest city.

"where are we, jahseh?" i ask him, and he shoots me a puzzled look, tilting his head. "arizona?" he asks in a confused tone. "no, i mean where?"

"oh." jahseh laughs at his misunderstanding. "parker. the city of parker."

we only walk for a couple more minutes before we reach a road, and we quickly cross it, being faced with a bussling street, with a few high buildings. we're on the strip, it's easy to tell.

"the nearest hotel is only a five minute walk from here." jahseh informs me, and i just nod as i walk beside him, and we pass by people on the sidewalk, and with each person i pass i become more and more nervous that i'll be found.

i think jahseh can sense my tensity, because he intertwines his hand with mine, giving it a soft squeeze. "you'll be okay." he says softly, and i'm surprised that i can hear him over all the people.

soon we arrive at a nice looking hotel, an embassy suites, and jahseh glances at me. "fancy." he says with a cheeky grin. "hell yeah it is." i agree. we walk hand in hand into the hotel, and march right up to the front desk, where the receptionist gives us a look that's a mixture of confusion and annoyance.

"can i help you kids?" she asks in a sort of whine tone, looking up from her phone.

"room for onfroy." jahseh says, tilting his head slightly. "i made a reservation last night, and paid ahead of time."

the receptionist gives jahseh a lingering look, but still types something into her computer. "yes that's right, reservation for onfroy, five night stay." she says, but still looks confused. "how old are you?"

"does it matter?" jahseh asks boredly. "i already paid."

"do you have an id?" she asks. "i already paid." jahseh repeats himself. "call my mother, if you must, just get the shit over with so we can go to our room."

"please, just let us pass." i speak up, and both of them glance at me. "i don't want any problems."

the receptionist sighs softly, pulling out two room keys and handing them to us. "if you're confronted by anyone, do not mention me. i don't want to get fired."

"will do." jahseh winks at her, and he pulls me along with him to the elevator, where we ride to the eight floor.

"room five twenty eight." jahseh mumbles to himself, searching around for the room with me in tow.
