(Y/N's POV)

I looked over from the table I was in to see a tall man enter the restaurant, I didn't think much of it but every time the front door of the restaurant a cold gust of The New York wind hit my back, I continued eating my food, I was eating by myself as all my friends were busy with their boyfriends or jobs, so I was eating alone, again.

The man sat a few tables away from me, I Kept eyeballing him, I feel like I've seen him before but I couldn't place my finger on it. shortly he noticed me taking glances at him, he smiled at me and waved awkwardly. I looked away completely not want to make eye contact with him. I tried to eat without taking another look at him. I gave the waiter my check and got up from the table before I could leave the man stopped me.

"I'm sorry but did you want a picture or something?"

"What?" I chuckled confused

"Well I-I mean you were staring at me so I just wanted to you know to see if you wanted a photo."

I rolled my eyes not knowing this man was going to be so arrogant.

"I think I'm fine," I said opening the exit door, the man shrugged and walked back to his seat, I turned around to see two girls walk up to him squealing. I didn't understand except for the fact that he was probably some wanna-be celebrity trying to make it into the business.

I started walking back to work, I entered Rockefeller plaza and said hello to the doorman, and entered the elevator, a man put his hand through the door before it closed he walked in to see it was the man from earlier, both of our eyes widened as we immediately looked away from each other.

The Man cleared his throat, before speaking "Sorry, that was pretty arrogant of me."

I didn't say anything I felt so embarrassed for him and myself.

"It's just I thought you knew who I was so..."

I raised my eyebrow "Who are you?"

"It doesn't matter."

"I think it does if you won't stop talking about yourself," I said finally pushing the elevator button.

"Wow....." The man said he liked this side of the cute woman he has just met.

"My name is  Pete...By the way," he said looking at me with a smile.

I looked up from my phone that I was staring at trying to avoid his awkward interaction "Oh, my names Y/N"

"That's a nice name," he said  trying to flatter me,

"Mhm, Thanks."

"Hey, so after work tonight would you like to get drinks or something?"

I looked up and smiled, I haven't drunk in a while and I would love to get drunk but I don't know about this man, it was almost like he followed me in the building.

"What do you do here, Pete?" I asked in a passive-aggressive tone putting my phone away to look up at him.

"Well, I'm a cast member of The 1975 show SNL. What do you do Ms. Y/N?" Pete was kind of upset that  I completely ignored his question.

"Well I'm a writer for The Girlie Show." (30 Rock Reference)

"I've never seen that show."

"Well, neither have I seen yours." I smiled.

"What's your deal man?" He asked looking at me annoyed.

My eyes widened. "What?"

"I've been trying to be nice to you and you know...Flirt with you... but you've kinda been mean, I  want to get to know you."

I stayed silent "You never answered about the drinks." he teased.

"Fine but only because you're kind of cute."

he blushed.

The elevator dinged as I hopped off

"See you at 8, in the lobby."

I gave him a peace sign as I walked down the hallway to work.

Pete checked his watch waiting for the H/C haired girl to get here.

The elevator door opened Pete looked up and saw me walking off, I smiled at Pete, Pete smiled back.

"You look nice."

"I look the same as you saw me last time."

Pete Chuckled a little At my remark.

"there's this nice restaurant we could go to, it's just a little bit out of the city."

"Sure." I smiled, trying to act nice.

Pete Opened the passenger for me, I smiled as I got inside and smiled.

Pete started making small talk, our conversation started to grow. we both laughed a lot in the car and getting to the restaurant was even better.

Pete looked up at me up and down and smirked "How about we get out of here?" he said in his flirty tone.
