Zayn fluttered his eyes open as he lay on his stomach, his alarm was ringing
He shoved it off of his bedside table and smile before he continued to sleep
But his eyes flew open when a loud knock came on his door and the door opened
Zayn sat up, hugging his pillow as his father walked in
His father blinked, not saying anything as Zayn blinked before he (Zayn) huffed "Fine"
His father smiled "Good"

"You know who will show you around, right?"
Zayn, with his head against the window, nodded and mumbled a 'yeah'
"Zayn"
He huffed and sat up before he looked at his father "Yeah, I know" He raised both eyebrows "Ya know, if you let me take the test with everyone around my age, you wouldn't have to worry about all this"
Zayn saw his father shrug as he parked and turned to him "Ok dumb dumb, tell me why you're here"
Zayn smiled "Education"
Zayn's father blinked "Why do you look like that?"
Zayn's smile fell "Excuse me, you tell me to smile more and when I do it you ask why I look like that?!"
"Yeah, alright, now get out"

Zayn walked towards the entrance of the school and looked at the person standing there
He met Zayn's eyes and smiled "I'm going to assume you're Zayn"
Zayn smiled "You're... Louis?"
Louis smiled and nodded "That's me" He put his hands in his pockets "Which exact sector?"
"Robotics, mechanics and prosthesis engineering" He tilted his head to the side "You?"
Louis perked up "I'm in robotics and mechanics too" he rubbed the back of his neck "Not prosthesis engineering though..."
Zayn smiled "No big deal; hopefully I'll see you around though!!"
Louis smiled as they both walked inside "Alright, enough of that, let me show you to your locker, all of the stuff you'll need will be in there"
Zayn nodded, he looked around, people along the halls were freely talking
He saw a student talking to a robot and everything he said being written on the screen
He moved to the side when a small robot walked past him with a broom while screaming as a student ran after it
Louis chuckled "I promise, I give you 2 days and you'll get used to all of this"
Zayn chuckled "I hope so"
They stopped by a locker, and Louis nodded towards it "This one is yours"
Zayn's eyes widened, the locker was big enough to let a person comfortably sit inside of it
Louis laughed "Not used to lockers being this big?"
Zayn shook his head "In my previous school, the lockers were barely big enough to hold our books..."
Louis frowned "Why did you stay there?"
Zayn shrugged "I wasn't ready when I was 14, my father was hesitant when I was 16"
Louis stayed quiet then cleared his throat "How would you like to open it?"
Zayn smiled "Which one is the easiest?"
"I'd go with either face or hand"
Zayn nodded, then stepped closer, he clicked the hand scan and 2 seconds layer it blinked saying 'Scan complete'
Zayn stepped back as the locker opened, he smiled and nodded "Cool..."
Louis nodded "Cmon, I'll show you around"
Zayn looked at him "Before we continue, my timetable?"
Louis typed something on the screen that's on Zayn's locker them stepped back
"Enter your ID number"
Zayn pressed the combination of letters and numbers, it them showed him his timetable
A comparent opened and Zayn was asked to place his phone
He looked at Louis who nodded, he then placed his phone in and the compartment closed
It showed on the screen that his schedule was being added to his phone before the compartment opened and Zayn's phone was there
He picked it up and looked at Louis "Nobody told me this was a thing..."
Louis smiled "Because we don't want anyone to join us here anymore"

After his first set of classes, Zayn was leaving to go to his next when he nearly bumped into someone
He stopped but kept he head down, mumbling a 'watch it' before he continued to walk
Zayn kept on looking before he turned around and nearly bumped into someone else who was just standing there looking at him
"Now now sweetie-pie, keep those eyes in their place."
Zayn furrowed his brows "What?"
But she just giggled and rushed after the other person.
Zayn blinked, shook his head and walked towards the cafeteria, he spotted Louis who smiled and waved him over
Zayn walked over and sat down "Hope you don't mind"
Louis shook his head "Wouldn't have asked you to come if I did" Louis said then picked up a part and joined the wires to a bot in front of him "How was your first set of classes?"
Zayn frowned "Weird..." He looked at his hands "I nearly bumped into someone, he went off but then someone appeared in front of me and-"
"Let me guess, asked you to keep your eyes to yourself?" He said then scrunched his nose before he picked up a rag and rubbed something inside the bot
"Yeah... How'd you know?"
"Let's just go with a very wild guess" He said yanking out a few wires when the bot started to beep loudly
Zayn blinked "So. That's just the normal here?"
Louis' shoulders fell, he was silent for a while "No... But it is for them"
