Zayn was at his dad's company, he was giving some of his ideas to a few board members when a knock came on the door
They all turned towards it and Zayn let out a breath
"Mr-... Sir Zayn Malik, someone is here to see you"
Zayn nodded then turned back to everyone "Do you all mind?"
One of the board members turned to the door "Who is it?"
"Luca Vitalle, sir"

"What do you want?" Zayn said throwing his blazer on the couch
Luca took a sip of his tea "You took your time"
"I was in an important meeting, one that may actually determine my future... That's something you may never have" He said clapping once
Luca's eyes twitched, he put down his cup of tea ans stood up
"I take it you care about... Liam"
Any humor that Zayn could've mustered up immediately melted off and he clenched his jaw
Luca chuckled and leaned against Zayn's -temporary- desk "Oh there we go!!"
"A vile creature shouldn't have the right to say his name"
Luca shrugged "I said it, I've been saying it for years... I've said it in multiple ways as well"
Zayn rolled his eyes "Ok, now what do you want?"
Luca shrugged "You can't take care of him-"
Zayn frowned "Pardon?"
Luca cleared his throat "Liam needs... Me, from how his brain Is wired to how his foot is angled. It's always been me"
Zayn blinked the snorted "It's been like 3 weeks, I'm sure he's doing just fine without you"
Luca shrugged "You say that NOW" He said then stood up and walked to stand right across from Zayn
"But when he's pulling his hair out from frustration and how crazy things get in his head, be ready for me to say I told you so"
Zayn frowned "What are you talking about?"
Luca laughed and rubbed his face "Waw... Sometimes I forget you've only known him for almost 4 months, and he didn't just spill his fucking guts to you"
Zayn blinked and nodded "Ok, you've said what you wanted to say. Now get out"

Liam laid on the bed with his hands behind his head and his eyes were closed
"No pain anywhere?"
"Breathing's a fucking bitch but yeah no pain"
The doctor frowned "Breathing?"
Liam looked at him "Yeah"
The doctor frowned then shook his head "I'm going to run a few tests-"
Liam shook his head and sat up "I'm good."
"Liam-"
"I'm not losing another organ, I'm not going to be more of an outcast"
The doctor sighed and stood up in front of Liam, stopping him from leaving
"You know I can't let you leave... Luca-"
"And I aren't a thing anymore" The doctors eyes widened "Yeah so cool so fun so shocking" He shrugged
The doctor shook his head "Just... Just a test, I can't be another person who failed you"
Liam sighed "Fine..."

Louis looked at Zayn "What happened to you?"
Zayn frowned "Luca came to see me" Louis rolled his eyes and nodded "Louis, is Liam OK?"
Louis froze and Niall's eyes widened, they both looked at Zayn
"Why? What happened? What did Luca say?"
Zayn blinked "He said something by not saying what it actually was..."
Louis sighed "I'm going to shove a 5 pronged fork up his arse" he said then stood up and walked away
Zayn blinked and looked at Niall "Does he actually mean it?"
Niall sighed "No... But he'll get Liam to do it"

Luca was pacing around his room, talking on the phone when he was stopped, the phone got yanked from his hand and thrown against a wall
It shattered and he clenched his jaw and turned around "What the actual fuck Liam?!"
Liam balled his fist "What the fuck is wrong with you?"
Luca rolled his eyes and crossed his arms "What are you talking about?"
"Stay away from my friends, Luca I mean it"
Luca shrugged "I am staying away from them" Liam gave him a look and Luca smiled
"Luca-"
Luca put his hands on Liam's waist "But Zayn isn't a friend, is he?"
Liam frowned "Get your hands off" Luca chuckled and stepped back raising his hands "And whatever I am with anyone is none of your business, Luca."
Luca shrugged and Liam frowned "What can I do to get you to stop?"
Luca smirked and Liam gave him an uninteresting look "I'm not getting back together with you"
Luca hummed then looked around his bedroom before he smirked
"Oh I'm sure I can think of something"

Liam decided on the stairs as he walked upto his apartment
He stopped when he saw Zayn seated by the door, Zayn looked at him and smiled
Liam didn't smile back, he (Zayn) stood up and Liam walked towards him
Liam hugged him tightly, Zayn hugged Liam back and buried his hands into Liam's hair
"What happened, babes?" Zayn whispered, Liam closed his eyes "What did he do?"
Liam took a shaky breath "I didn't want him to hurt you anymore..."
Zayn frowned and pulled away, he cupped Liam's cheeks and rubbed his thumb on Liam's cheekbone
His shoulders fell when he saw the tears welling up in Liam's eyes
"I don't know what I'm feeling Zayn..."
