They finished and went to present their app, they were waiting for their turn and Liam noticed the way Zayn's leg was bouncing
He looked up to meet Zayn's eyes but Zayn was looking ahead with his bottom lip between his teeth
Liam put a hand on Zayn's knee, Zayn stopped and looked at him
Liam looked at him "You'll do great."
Zayn smiled weakly "You think so?"
Liam nodded "I'm sure"
Zayn forced out a quiet laugh "Ok... Ok, I'm ready"
"Zayn.... Liam, you both are up"
Zayn's smile fell and his eyes widened "I'm not-"
Liam looked at the professor "Just a moment" Liam looked at Zayn and whispered
"We do this, I kiss you afterwards"
Zayn stopped then looked at him "Really?"
Liam nodded "You want to right? You aren't doing this because you want to get done with this?"
Liam looked at Zayn's lips then into Zayn's eyes "Yeah..."

They were in the final part of their presentation. To show that it works
It took them 30 minutes to explain the coding, and another 10 to explain how it'll work
They both stepped to the side and Liam tapped his phone a couple times before a holographic figure of Louis and Niall appeared
"Well hello there"
Zayn smiled and nudged Liam, Liam looked up at him with a small smile then looked back ahead
The people from the class started to ask questions, how can Louis see them, what will the app cost in stores, does it work for anyone, is there a way for people to actually touch the person
Liam and Zayn answered all the questions, speaking about further development and Liam even showed them that they can choose the colour of the hologram
Once all the questions were answered, the professor told them that they could leave
They walked to the back of the room, picked up their bags and walked out
As soon as the door closed behind them, and they were in the empty hall
Liam dropped his backpack, cupped Zayn's cheeks, pulled him closer and kissed him
Zayn closed his eyes and wrapped his arms around Liam's waist and kissed him back
Backing Liam up against a locker, Liam leaned back against it with a hand on Zayn's cheek
Zayn didn't stop, he was kissing like he was desperate for air and Liam was the only one who could give it to him
They pulled away and looked into each other's eyes, Zayn rubbed his thumb against Liam's bottom lip before they kissed again then hugged tightly
Zayn pulled away and Liam dropped onto his feet, but he kept his hand on Zayn's face as Zayn's hand was now on it
"Thank you... For agreeing to be my partner"
Liam shrugged "I should be thanking you really... I would've been working alone if it wasn't for you" Liam smiled and whispered
"So... Thank you"
Zayn smiled and closed his eyes when Liam's thumb rubbed against his cheek
"Anytime babes, anytime..."

After school, they went to Liam's apartment
They got in, and put their things down before Liam turned to Zayn and stretched his arms
Zayn walked towards him and hugged Liam tightly, Liam hugged him back and sighed
"What happened?"
Liam closed his eyes "It was just an exhausting day..."
"What can I do to make it better?"
Liam pulled away, he then shrugged and let out a breath "I dunno..."

Zayn was running his fingers through Liam's hair while reading a book
Liam was seated on the floor tinkering with a device
When he heard a quiet gasp from Zayn, Liam turned around
"What?"
Zayn looked at Liam then at the book before he stood up "C'mon"
Liam frowned "Where?"

At the museum, Zayn was walking as fast as he could with Liam by his side
They rushed past pictures of previous Maliks and past the room and stood right in front of a picture
Liam looked at it then at Zayn "Who are they?"
Zayn took a deep breath "Zayn Malik the first... Along with his husband and their 3 kids"
Liam kept looking at the 5 in the picture, all were smiling, and it seemed like the photo was taken when they didn't know it was
"What's his name?"
Zayn looked at Liam "His name was Liam..."
Liam's eyes widened and he quickly turned to Zayn "What?"
Zayn nodded then turned ahead "His name was Liam, none of the books I ever read mentioned his last name. It was just Liam..."
Liam blinked and stepped ahead, he put a hand on the glass protecting the picture
"He... Has a prosthetic leg too..."
Zayn nodded while keeping an eye on Liam, Liam turned to Zayn
"Is it mentioned how he got it?"
Zayn shook his head "No, it's not. It just said he got it in an accident"
Liam looked ahead "What are their kids named?"
Zayn looked at the 3 "Yaser, Estrella and Connor Malik..."
