"You're an idiot, Roman."

"Oh, I'm well aware of that." Roman said, unfazed. "But at least I'm respectful to people who've done nothing to me."

"Yeah well I'm not like you."

"Jesus Christ guys, this has been going on for five minutes." Aaron intervened, checking his watch. "If we're any later, Ace'll kill us all. So can you two please shut up?"

Virgil rolled his eyes and Aaron and Roman shot a look at each other.

"Why has he not grown up?" Roman asked as they tried to catch the rest of the cast up on the way to the stage. Aaron shrugged.

"Beats me. I mean, after everything that's happened between you two at rehearsals, I'm guessing one of you fucked up pretty bad. Any idea for what you did?"

Roman looked at Aaron, offended. "Wh- Why d'you assume it's me who did something?"

"Because I know you, Roman. Or at least, I knew you. You couldn't see what you did unless it was right in front of your face."

"Uh, no, I-"

"I'm not criticising past you, Roman. I'm just saying. So," Aaron shrugged, "what d'you do?"

"Nothing!" Roman insisted.

"Okay. Don't have to tell me, I get it." Aaron pointed a head a little. "Might want to go help Virgil. He's looking a little pale."

"He always looks pale."

"Yeah but this is kinda like he-might-faint pale."

"Why should I care, exactly?"

Aaron rolled his eyes and crossed his arms, looking Roman in the eye. "Because you do. I know you do. You've always cared about Virgil. Doesn't matter whether you want to admit it now or later but you do, Roman."

Roman scoffed. "I do not care about Virgil. Please."

Aaron sighed but didn't pursue the subject. "Well, I gotta get to the piano. Good luck with acting on stage. Think they're doing the kiss scene today."

"Kiss scene?!" Roman repeated.

"Yeah. Did you not know? It's stated in the script and everything."

"No, I did not know!"

"Jesus Christ." Aaron sighed. "It's right at the end of the script."

"I haven't read that far!"

"You haven't re- Roman, the show's in three weeks!" Aaron took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down. "Whatever. All I can say is break a leg. You're gonna need it."

"Sunshine?"

Virgil rolled his eyes and looked at Roman. "Yeah Princey?"

"Do you know..."

"I'm gonna cut you off there." Roman made a little 'aw' noise and Virgil nearly laughed. "If this is a, a way to get out of me helping you memorise your script or b, you trying to look at my notes, it's not going to work."

"Aw man, I was so close." Virgil laughed and shook his head. "I was too. But please Sunshine? It's just so boring."

"This is coming from the person who spends all of his free time at rehearsal." Virgil said, a bitter hint creeping into his voice.

"I'm sorry, Virge. I really do try to get away but it's just so much to do."

"It's fine, Princey." Virgil tried for a small smile. "I'm used to it, anyway."

"Shiiiiit." Virgil breathed as he looked up at the railings on the stage. "Um, Ace?"

"Yeah Virgil?"

"I'm not gonna have to... climb that, am I?"

"It's just for your first song, Virgil." Ace reassured. At least, Virgil thought it could be reassurance. "It's not a problem, is it? Because if it is, we can have it taken down."

"No. It's um," Virgil took a deep breath and tried to stop his hands from shaking, "it's fine."

My mood took an almightly plummit before I wrote it and with that mood-fall came the dreaded Writer's Block. How bad is this mood-pit I am in, asks no one? Seeing a flock of birds fly across the sky made me want to die. *clears throat* I'M NOT OKAY! And I'm listening to MCR so I'm allowed to make that reference.
Bye,
Blaize
