Roman stared Virgil down and tried not to blush. They were just about half-way through their last show and there had definitely been a subtle change in Virgil's acting, though Roman couldn't put a finger on what.

"Not so big and strong now, are we?" Yeah, there was definitely a changed undertone in Virgil's voice. Or maybe it was something in his eyes...

"What do you want?" Roman's voice wasn't completely even but he hoped it would just be passed off as acting.

"Aw, do I scare you, Green?" Virgil asked, taking a step towards Roman so Roman would have to take a step back. Obviously, it was completely in character, he wasn't actually blushing heavily behind his stage make-up.

"I, uh, I-" Roman felt his back bump up against the scaffold at the back of the stage.

"I do, don't I?" There had to be something else in Virgil's smirk, there had to be. This couldn't just be a different style of acting on the last night. "But let me tell you a little secret." Virgil leaned so close to Roman that he could feel his breath on his neck. "You scare me."

Virgil looked Roman in the eyes and smirked. He stood up on his tip-toes and leaned so close to Roman he could've kissed him if he wanted. Just as Roman was leaning forwards, Virgil pulled back and laughed a little. Again, this was all completely in character. It wasn't like Roman actually wished Virgil had kissed him or anything.

"Catch you later, Green." He grinned at Roman before turning around and walking off-stage.

"El's going to be the death of me." Roman muttered, not really focusing on his lines and instead focusing on what that little glint in Virgil's eye was. It wasn't just a spotlight reflected-

The music started up and Roman didn't have any more time to think about his co-star.

Virgil jumped around his dressing room, screaming silently in excitement. The play was over, the play was over, the play was over! He'd gotten through it without a mishap! He had to go and talk to Roman about-

Roman. Jesus Christ, Roman. What was Virgil going to do about him and his feelings? Well, he had to tell him, didn't he? He couldn't disappear only to meet up ten years later, could he? No, he had to do something.

Virgil looked at his face in the mirror, all traces of stage make-up gone. He pulled his hood up over his head and nodded to himself. Yeah, he was going to do something and he wasn't going to back down. But he'd better do it soon, he'd get cold feet otherwise.

Knock, knock, knock.

"Princey? Roman?" Virgil asked, leaning against the doorframe as usual. There was the turn of a lock and the door opened.

"Sunshine, we did it!" Roman said excitedly, his face bright with excitement and relief.

"Yeah, well done. You weren't too bad of a love interest, I suppose."

Roman raised an eyebrow. "Would a mere love interest have a load of fans collected outside his dressing room window?"

"What?" Roman nodded, grinning triumphantly.

"Yep. I have fans, Sunshine."

"You're bluffing."

"Okay, maybe I am a little but I do have fans." Roman said, crossing his arms. "And a mere love interest like you wouldn't have that many fans."

Virgil wrapped his arms around Roman's neck and stood on his tip-toes, pressing their foreheads together.

"Would a love interest do this, Princey?" He murmured. Roman stared, wide-eyed, at Virgil, slowly blushing.

"Uh- I-"

"Do I scare you, Princey?" Virgil asked quietly.

Roman swallowed. "O-Only if you..." He left the sentence open and hanging in the air but Virgil got what he was going to say.

"Can I kiss you?" He asked. Roman nodded slightly.

Virgil kissed Roman slowly. Roman allowed his eyes to slip closed and wrapped his arms around Virgil's waist, pulling him closer. He'd both missed this feeling desperately and wanted it back every day since he'd fallen back in love with Virgil.

As if he didn't want the kiss to end either, Virgil pulled away very slowly. He looked up at Roman, his eyes wide and sparkling and his cheeks very flushed.

"Please tell me that meant the same to you as it did to me." Roman almost-whispered. As an answer, Virgil stood back up on his tip-toes and pressed another kiss to Roman's lips. This one was less desperate, a lot lighter.

"It did." Virgil said when he pulled back. "I'm sorry I lied to you, Roman. I was just scared and worried and I panicked."

"I... I really missed you, Virge."

Virgil didn't say anything, burying his head in Roman's chest instead.

"Can I take you out? On a date?" Roman asked, still talking in hushed tones. Virgil nodded into his chest. "Is this another chance for me?"

Virgil looked up at Roman. "It's another chance for us."

Is... Is this done?
I think this is done.
Writing this chapter made me feel so single-
Well, that's the final book in the YNATFILWM trilogy. Did... Did you like it? Did I do good? DOES THE STORY FEEL FINISHED?!
Anyway, um, hope you enjoyed this story. I'm gonna be moving away from Prinxiety for a while with my next story being Logicality and then I'm gonna be writing my one and only Logince story but anyway, I really hoped you liked this story because I certainly did. It felt... less angsty to me than YNATFILWM but maybe that's just to do with the length, I don't know.
Bye,
Blaize
